One of the city’s key public institutions since 1959, the gallery has become one of the most authoritative cultural centres on the national contemporary arts scene. It holds temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art; it promotes young creativity, offering ongoing teaching services, and organises a number of other activities to do with the diffusion of contemporary artistic languages.
