I had a half-day class at this cooking school and made delicious food and learnt some new techniques and cooking tips. The recipes were simple enough that I'll can try again/practice at home. Valerie and Barbara were good teachers. I took the class by myself, but think it would also be fun in a group. I took the bus from... More

Great location and easy to access from public transportation. I really enjoyed the class. I just tried to make one of the pastas I learned. Hopefully it will turn out as good as the ones we made in class!

Highly recommended! Fun experience. You will sure learn how to do it, probably it won't be so easy to reproduce at home, but it's worth. Both Barbara and Valeria are very a thoughtful and high spirits. I was lucky to take a lesson just me and my husband, If you go to Bologna, it's a must. Just pay attention to... More

This was a great, interactive way to experience the food culture of Bologna! Barbara met us in the main square of Bologna and took us on a quick market tour where she bought some of the ingredients we used in our class (which was private). My sons (13 and 18) were a bit skeptical of the idea of a cooking... More

My boyfriend and I had a 3.5 hour cooking lesson with Barbara and Valeria. They were very flexible, and able to do a course on a Sunday, which is not part of their normal schedule, and also able to adjust ingredients to fit dietary requirements. We were lucky to have Barbara and Valeria to ourselves for the whole morning. 3... More

We really enjoyed our class with Barbara and Valerie. They explained everything so thoroughly and then email you the recipes after the class. Their English is very good. This class was one of the highlights of our trip.

Barbara and Valeria are lovely ladies who start you off with a warm welcome and a tasty coffee! When my boyfriend and I went to visit them for a morning cookery class we spent a little over three hours learning lots and lots about cooking in genera,l but especially Italian cooking. We were lucky to number just two people that... More

If you have any interest in learning about Italian cooking, please take this class in Bologna. You will be happy with your creations and all you have learned...and eaten! Barbara is a devotee of the Slow Food movement, seems to know everyone in the marketplace and a tour of it is part of the class. We had a great time... More

I'm not a cook and I didn't even think I liked cooking until I experienced a morning cooking class with Valeria and Barbara. It was just awesome. The girls are very friendly, knowledgeable, generous... and professional, and so is their kitchen. The cost and class structure also fitted in perfectly with my itinerary. I have now discovered a whole new... More
