On a short break to Bologna in July 2006, we stayed a ten minute walk away from the Piazza Maggiore. Along with other attractions – a beautiful Basilica, cafes, a medieval gallery and a three story municipal library/bookstore – the Piazza offered the largest open air cinema I’d ever seen.
