Great architecture

Definitive proof how rich and important Bologna once was. Astonishing architecture, combined with highest quality materials, makes this really great building. Worth seeing.

This building originaly was built in the 14.th century, and rebuilt after the WW II bombings. Its gothic facade is extraordinary and the marmor balconies as well.

In addition to the panoramic view from the tower this building is very impressive from the street Via Independence, also beautiful... More

On viewing the outside we had to put up with roadworks during our visit but it is a very pleasant palazzo. Inside we viewed the merchant's hall which had some impressive tapestry. Overall nice to visit but does not necessarily need to be a priority when visiting Bologna although it is next to the two towers so it is easy... More
