My family felt our first trip to Italy must include a tour of a Parmesan Cheese Factory so when I stumbled on this website several months ago I had no idea what I treasure I found! From the moment I submitted a request for the tour, my experience with Emilia Delizia was first rate. Gabriele provided excellent customer service by... More

The driver and tour guide was very nice and accommodating. We were able to keep our bags in the van. Seeing how they make parmigiano was quite impressive. You get to go in and see them in action. The balsamic vinegar was good too but I would have liked to see a producer that makes the traditional one even if... More

We are foodies. Northern Italy was a good place to visit! And Emilia Delizia made sure we saw the real Parmignano cheese produced from fresh milk through aging, prosciutto di Parma from the fresh pork through aging, and balsamic di Modena produced and tasted! They provided the car and wonderful English-speaking local guide/driver who made the 9:30a.m.-1:30p.m. into a perfect... More

An great full day event made more enjoyable by our host and the wine maker during the wine tour and lunch. The cheese make and his family were great hosts too with all questions answered sincerely. Our balsamic vinegar hosts were also very open and informative about their life long involvement with the product. The cured meat tour was contrived... More

Everything about this experience was wonderful. My friend and I were going from Mantua to Bologna and were hoping to design a food tour that would pick us up from one hotel and drop us off at the other, and Gabriele planned just that, on short notice. Our driver/guide was Paolo and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very funny.... More

My group did a lot of research before booking this tour and chose this one because it offered 3 different tours for a better price than some offering only 2. When we booked, we were offered a discount which made a big difference in our price. Regardless of the price, we had Paolo as our guide and he was great.... More

Billed as "The three gourmet food tour in one day" our entire group (9 people) was underwhelmed. Be aware that compared to other tours, this one is way over priced. We were picked up in Bologna around 7:00 am. Our first stop (the most interesting) was at a parmesan cheese factory. The guide was knowledgable but it was difficult to... More

This tour was organised privately and exclusively for the client and it was not an open group tour where others could join in. it was a party of 9 people and we organise transport from Bologna to the Parmesan cheese production, Balsamic vinegar and Parma ham producer in Langhirano where they had lunch. Considering the distance involved and considering that... More

We had "Food tour" (Parmesan, balsamic, Parma ham). Our guide was Sabrina - she was very nice and it can be seen that she is not just telling the information, she is enjoying the subject she is telling you about. We were travelling by car and it was important for us that it won't be any group with us and... More
