Firstly, thank you to Emilia Delizia for arranging the tour for a group of 4 (individuals ages from 21 to 50+) on short notice. We went on the 1 day tour on 28/12/11 covering parmigiana reggiano cheese, traditional balsamic vinegar and parma ham. To be honest we weren't sure what to expect, but the guide "Gabriele" was very friendly, helpful... More

The tour was better than we expected - the detail of the Parmesan process and actually being able to watch it all (we now understand the early pick up time) and then taste the fantastic products at the end. The passion that came over when the Balsamic Vinegar process was being explained and the actual tasting of the products. The... More

My friend and I were only going to be in the Parma, Italy area for 2 days and so our list of what we wanted to see was really long. I sent it along to Gabriele and he made it happen. Literally, we had two packed days of a variety of customized tours including a prosciutto curing factory with lunch,... More

We have a small Italian restaurant and wanted to learn more about the key ingredients. This was a perfect way to do it. When I booked the trip, I thought we'd be traveling with other people, but it was just our guide, Gabi, and my husband and me, so very private. The aromas at the Parmesan making place were heavenly.... More

We booked our food tour (private) with Emilia Delizia and it was organised to perfection, from the moment we were picked up from our hotel in Modena to every detail during the day. It was not rushed and the guide spoke a flawless English. We toured the production of Parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar producer at a private house in central... More

An interesting tour of an organic Parmesan producer, La Perla parma ham factory and Aceto di Georgio balsamic vinegar. Aceto di Georgio was the highlight with the talk by a master-taster in training a real insight into the passion these Italian producers have. We were a little uncomfortable about booking as there were no prices on the website, and the... More

We do not indicate prices on our website simply because all tours we organise are a little different in fact they are tailor made, therefore the costs changes, however clients are quoted the price in advance by email and there wont be any extra cost on the day. Since we use only licensed drivers and guides the price is set... More

I exchanged several emails with Gabielle concerning this tour. Let me say that the places we visited were outstanding. Gabielle booked us a 2 night stay at Cancabaia with Bruno and Simona. It was one of the best places we stayed on our 21 day trip. We were booked for the Parmesan Cheese tour with Bruno, a tour of La... More

The client bought an accommodation plus activities package that did not include a guide for the day, however the visits are conducted by the producers themselves and it it is clearly indicated on the website. Sadly the client preferred to post a negative feedback rather than calling us and solve the issue directly with our company. All clients receive a... More

We wanted to experience the great flavors of Italy and this trip did more! Not only was it a fantastic tasting experience, we learnt so much about the production and care that goes into making parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar and salumi! Do not miss this trip! It is first class all the way, from the moment you book until the... More

We stayed in Bologna and wanted a to see a number of things in Modena. I made lunch reservations at an Osteria that I wanted to visit and then Gabriele put together the rest of the trip. After picking us up at our hotel in Bologna, we visited a small family run traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena factory. Gabriele then... More
