Imagine the best tour that you have been on and then multiply that by ten--that is the Italian Days Food Experience. Led by the animated and knowledgeable Alessandro, we were taken on an interactive, hands-on exploration of Bologna's finest cuisine. In addition to visiting the factories where Parmigiano-Reggiano and Italian prosciutto are produced as well as the family home where... More

Alessandro was the man. Born to be a food tour guide, he made this experience unique and the best it could be. If anyone asks me what tour to do, I will make certain that they use Italian Food Days!! Nice work Alessandro. We will talk about you and your tour forever!

Booked this tour based on the Italian Days website as well as other trip advisor reviews. Well worth it. Cannot recommend it enough. Alessandro is a wealth of information and presents it in an entertaining fashion. He makes the tour. Easy to book, you get picked up at your hotel and rolled out of the van at the end. The... More

This was by far the best tour experience we had in Italy. Two of us did the Italian Days Food Experience with Alessandro. Alessandro was born to do this. He is a fantastic tour guide and an amazingly passionate person, especially when it comes to his food. He created such a wonderful, memorable and noteworthy experience. I don't think it... More

Wow. Wow. Wow. I LOVED this tour and highly recommend it!!!! We did the Italian Days Food Experience with Alessandro. Each factory was fascinating and Alessandro provided so much information in an entertaining, easy to retain and witty manner. He also took pictures of us along the way to make sure we had fantastic memories to take home with us.... More

My mom and me spent 10 days in Italy and tried all kinds of tours, but not one compared to this one. Our guide was fantastic, very enthusiastic and full of information. The food was endless and everything was perfect, the "light" lunch left us in a food coma with food babies!! It was so delicious though, that you just... More

I recently went to Italy with my mom and 2 brothers for 11 nights. We booked the entire trip around this tour as it was recommended to us by a few people that had done it. We did the tour at the end of our trip and did a couple other tours in Florence earlier on. We thought the tours... More

I took a Saturday tour, it was not cheap, but definitely worth every penny and more. I finished the day with a food coma, as breakfast, lunch and snack were including, as well as as much Italian wine. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable, took us through the process of Parmigiano Reggiano, and basalmic vinegar production. Definitely a day to... More

If there were one thing from our two-week trip around Italy that I would recommend to anyone and everyone, it would be to do this tour!!! I booked this tour before we even booked our holiday based on the strength of the reviews on here, and we were not disappointed. From the first email communication with Barbara, I knew we... More
