This is such a fun day and really informative. You will at times wonder what you are really buying at the store and walk away with a deep respect for the traditions of the region. Not to mention eating tremendous food and drinking wine all day long. Alessandro is made for his job as the tour director. Just do it!!!

This is a food lover's dream. We visited a parmigiano- reggiano factory where they make the cheese from the mixing of the milk thru all the aging processes. Afterwords, we were able to taste as much as we wanted along with glasses of wine and/or water. That tour was followed by of the making of balsamic vinegar in Modena. There... More

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. It was a food and wine lovers' dream come true. Our host was Marica, a young, charming woman who was extremely knowledgeable, smart and engaging. She and the wonderful drivers took us on three tours - for DOP parmigiana, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto. At ever stop, we ate... More

We decide to go on the Italian Days day trip based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. You can’t say it’s cheap, but it is certainly good value for money. The excursion was perfectly planned from the timely pick up in the early morning to drop-off in the afternoon. Alessandro was a great host that very enthusiastically guided us through the... More

I was a little sceptical about such good reviews and the price, but it is as good as everyone says and totally worth the money! Alexandro is a very knowledgeable, attentive and passionate guide and just an amazing person!

On the standard tour, you visit a factory making DOP parmaseano reggiano cheese, an aceteria making DOP aceta balsamico de modena and a factory making DOP prosciutto de modena. Alessandro (the tour guide) is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all of these foods and others and he explains in detail the tradition and processes that make each of the products... It was foodie heaven! Being able to see the cheese, balsamic vinegar, and procuitto being made was amazing and being able to taste it all was delicious! Our guide, America (not sure of spelling), was very well informed, fun, and easy to follow. Being in a small group was great, we had a chance to chat with everyone on the... More

Alessandro is funny, friendly, informative and extremely passionate about his country and its divine foods. You visit the Parmesan factory first to see this delicious cheese being made in vast copper vats, starting off as the raw milk and other ingredients through to the huge cheese being lifted out at the end stage ready to be shaped and matured in... There is nothing I can say to add to the spectacular and well deserved reviews Alessandro already has earned, but I will try. We visited Bolognia in January 2015 after spending time in Germany, Hungary, France and three weeks in Italy. I can honestly say this was the single greatest day of memories of them all and, hands down, the... More
