Time well spent in Modena. I learned so much about the production process and history of Parmigiano Reggiano, Aceto Balsamico, Prosciutto - it spoiled me forever from the stuff I thought was good quality in America. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! Allesandro is genuinely passionate as your host. You can feel his enthusiasm in every word. So much food to... More

Watch the best of Italian foods being made:Parmigiano Reggiano Factory, Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena, prosciutto factory, followed by an enormous lunch of everything for which the region is famous. Best food tour ever!

There is a reason Italian Days Food Experience is rated on TA as the #1 tour in Bologna - Allesandro is passionate about the incredible "DOP" products available in the Bologna area, and he and his company are fueled by that passion. You sense it when you first make contact with the company. It is pretty well confirmed through the... More

What a great way to experience three special aspects of Italian food - the process of making parmigiano reggiano cheese, traditional balsamic vinegar and proscuitto! On top of that - a delicious meal at the end of the tour with more food than one can imagine. Allesandro kept us engaged and informed throughout the day. We had a great time... More

We loved every second of this tour. We were picked up from our apartment in a very comfortable mini van. The driver took us to meet the rest of the group and our guide Allesandro, who is a very enthusiastic and brilliant guide. Everything about this tour was of a very high standard, the products, the information, the drivers, and... More

A fantastic tour to learn the art behind three traditional Italian delights - Parmagiano Reggiano, Balsamic Vinegar and Prosciutto. Alessandro the tour guide is amazing! He really makes the tour interesting and worth while, sharing all his vast knowledge about these traditions. He is also very funny and generous, and takes the time to explain everything Our tour was split... More

The difference between this food tour and many others that we have been on is Alessandro, the owner and creator of this fabulous food experience in Bologna. The day starts early with a 7.00 am pick-up, but Alessandro makes you forget the hour with his personality and his obvious love for what he does. Everyone on our tour was made... More

Go. I did the cheese, balsamico, and prosciutto tour and if I ever go back to Bologna, I may do this tour again. Alessandro is a great guide who loves food and sharing food with folks. This kind of hospitality is priceless and sadly increasingly rare. The tour ends with a fantastic lunch with bottomless glasses of wine. Come famished... More

An absolutely fabulous day out near Bologna, Italy. The host, Allessandro was perfect; informative, passionate and funny. We visited the home of Balsamic; the Parmigiano-Reggiano factory and a Prosciutto factory. We had a prosciutto tasting and then a gourmet lunch in a stunning location. I have no hesitation in recommending this day out
