We were a group of 7, on a cruise of the Adriatic, that stopped in a port outside of Ravenna. Our driver was waiting for us for our early drive to the parmigiano reggiano cheese factory. The process was amazing to see in all its steps, and mind-boggling to see the storage of about $2 million in cheese, before we... More

My husband and I booked this tour and it was awesome! We had such a great time and alessandro took good care of the whole group. It is not cheap like others have mentioned but it is worth every euro. Please go hungry. You eat just about all day and the lunch is amazing in a beautiful setting!! We were... More

If you are interested in seeing and learning about the production of Parmigiano Reggiano, traditional Balsamic vinegar of Modena, and Prosciutto di Modena, this is a must do tour! Alessandro is not only an entertaining guide but also extremely knowledgeable about Italian food products. The cost is very reasonable considering it includes transportation, all three production facilities with tastings, and... More

Wow! Wow! Wow! It's all been said before and I'm delighted to say that all the accolades are true. Just go. You could not fail to enjoy this amazing day out. It's the best and it's down to Alessandro and his team. Our driver, Rafa was so professional and the quality of all the drivers and the team help to... More

My wife and I absolutely HATE tours and avoid them like the Plague. The thought of being trapped in a van with a bunch of other tourists makes us shudder. But this is different… Allesandro is so fun, passionate and professional, that you can’t help but have fun. It was truly one of the highlights of our 10-day driving trip... More

This was an unbelievably fun day out! I can barely write this because of the "food coma" that I'm in. Aside from the early start time (just before 7 am!!), everything about the trip was perfect. We were a group of around 20 people, but transported in 4 different luxury SUVs so that it felt like we were on a... More

One of the best tours in Italy. Alessandro is an energetic, knowledgeable & fantastic tour guide and all members of tour are great as well - drivers, workers. It's a great way to meet people while you're traveling. As you travel to the various locations you will see that the landscape is beautiful and you will love the lunch at... More

There aren't too many trips that get the overwhelming level of top marks as Alesandro's, but with good reason. The trip is simply fantastic; of course you learn a lot about the world famous culinary delights of the area at point of origin/production, but it's how this is brought to life that really makes it stand out from other 'foodie'... This food tour was one of the best I've taken in Italy (and I've taken several). It is a wonderful way to taste all the traditional cuisine of Bologna and witness the amazing care and skill that goes into the production of some of their famous foods (e.g., parmigiano reggiano, proscuitto, traditional balsamic vinegar of modena). Most importantly Alessandro (the... More

Alessandro is a fantastic person to have as a guide on such a wonderful journey. He is passionate about his Reggio Parmegiano and his Balsamico to such a level that he has encouraged us to see them in a new way. After viewing the factories the main event begins. The "LIGHT LUNCH"!!! The wine keeps flowing and the food keeps... More
