Wonderful tour that explores Bologna's legendary contribution to the world of food in Prosciutto, Balsamic Vinegar and Italian Cheeses. An early start as the first visit is to a cheese factory, but wine and snacks at every stop, and culminating in an Italian feast. Well recommended and a food tour that I've yet to see beaten.

Alessandro makes this tour engaging and informative with an incredible amount of enthusiasm and energy. Not only will you walk away with a head full of foodie knowledge about the wonders of Italian cheese, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto, but you will also find yourself in an incredible food coma following one of the most extravagant lunches of your life.

My wife and I work in the food industry so when we were traveling to this area, we had to find a way to visit a parm, balsamic and prosciutto factory. This tour was a one stop shop and was the highlight of our entire 5 days in Italy (even beating out eating at Osteria Francescana and going to Expo... More

I am a food lover, a "foods teacher" and slow food aficionado, and the experience my husband and I had with Allesandro and our "Italian Days" tour was simply fabulous! After reading the many reviews here on Tripadvisor, I cautiously had high expectations of this tour, but our experience exceeded even my best ideas of what a "Food Experience" tour... More

Everything from the mail correspondance before the trip til the drop off was extremely well thougjt through. We were picked up in nice Mercedes mini Vans and brought to a Parmeggiano regghiano DOP factory in Modena. There we met the fantastic guide Alessandro who really expresses his passionate for food and people. He's a real Character and really enhances the... More

My daughter recommended this food tour. We were skeptical because, on arrival in Italy, we already felt steeped in the food experience. We couldn't have been more wrong. Alessandro is a brilliant and entertaining presenter of the back story and dedication that goes into the production of some of the finest foods (and drink) in the area. This tour was... More

We had a lot of fun with Fabio and a relatively large group of around 20. Fabio was a lively host who leant wit to every step of the way. There was a ton of quality food throughout. Breakfast, samples at each stop, and then an enormous, multi-hour lunch experience. Bring your appetite and prepare for a good time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We were picked up at our hotel by a comfortable van. The tour group size is small so you get lots of personal attention. The tours were interesting and informative. There was no shortage of food or wine. You end with a sit down meal of a great variety of wonderfully cooked food and of... More

We arranged a Lamborghini Factory Tour and Drive and a Ferrari Drive and visit to the Ferrari Museum through Italian Days remotely from Australia. Barbara from Italian Days handled our arrangements and my many many questions with great patience and excellence. Upon our arrival in Italy this continued up to the day of the event. I don't know why I... More
