I was very, very sceptical about this tour after reading the reviews. There is like 1000 five star reviews and nothing below four stars. BUT, after attending today, I can say that it is all true. It is 100% 5 stars and worth every penny. EUR150 well spent. The day is roughly eight hours spent at four locations: Cheese Balsamic... More

Alessandro just fizzes with energy. He provides an outstanding experience with an outstanding attitude. Loads of fun and great value for money. Don't eat too much at the start of lunch, or you won't get to try everything.

By far, one of the best tours I have ever taken! A full-day event during which an intimate group was led by the charming, entertaining, and extremely knowledgeable guide, Alessandro, to four destinations in the Emilia-Romagna region. The 7 AM start time made sense as soon as we arrived at one of fewer than 400 "DOP" producers of Parmigiano Reggiano,... More

From the hotel pick up, in a clean, air conditioned minivan (with a very smart and caring driver) to drop off we were in fabulous company. Our guide Fabio was a treat, 100% knowledgeable, extremely funny, caring and wanting everyone to have a good time. Breakfast at the parmigiano reggiano manufacturer after such an indepth and informative tour was amazing.... More

A truly fabulous day that is worth every penny, cent or euro. With a brilliant host in Fabio, passionate, funny, charming and very attentive, you see how Parmigiano Reggiano, Traditional balsamic Di Modena and Prosciutto Di Modena are made, tasting each and every one. You understand the care and passion that goes into each one and taste the difference between... More

My husband and I were unsure if the Italian Food Experience was worth the money but it certainly was. It was a wonderful experience and very educational. The trip was exactly as described by previous reviewers. We were picked up from our apartment at 7am and returned at 4pm. We learnt so much and Alessandro explained everything so well. We... More

Our experience with Alessandro to the Parmigiana Reggiano factory, "Balsamic" home and Prosciutto factory were informative and the samplings were delicious! Along with learning about the aging processes and how the items are made--we were given samples of the different foods to taste them for ourselves at the different ages. The longer the pork, cheese and vinegar's were aged the... More

My husband was unsure if the Italian Days Food Expeinece was worth $150 euro per person but i talked him into it...and he was SO glad i did! This full day food extravaganza was the best thing we did in Italy. The info was staggering, the food was exceptional and Alessandro was a complete firecracker- you will NEVER meet ANYONE... More

The three tours were all well organized. We were picked up at our hotel on time and really saw everything up close. Alessandro was tremendous!! After the tours, the "lunch" was probably the best meal we had in Italy. We even helped the cooks as they were hand-making the cappellettis!

I was a bit skeptical about whether this tour could match the great reviews but Alessandro and co deserve every bit of praise here. Simply one of the best days of our extended holiday. Informative, fun and more food and drink than you could imagine would fit into one day. But more important than quantity, the food and drink was... More
