After reading the copious number of positive reviews, we scheduled part of our trip in Italy through Bologna to take this tour and it was easily one of the best experiences that we have had in 3 trips to Italy. Alessandro's passion for food is unparalleled and comes through in his energy throughout the tour (really an experience among friends,... More

Words fail to describe this experience, but we'll have a go. After reading all the extremely positive comments, expectations were high when we embarked on this daytrip last monday 25th august for the full tour which led us to artisan parmigiano, balsamico & prosciutto houses. I deliberately say houses, because calling these institutions factories would be selling them way short.... More

Alessandro was fantastic. Truly passionate about Italian food and culture. Great sense of humor. Lunch features a great selection of appetizers, pasta, meats, alcohol, dessert. You might want to go light on your breakfast :)

My husband and I had fun on this informative food tour. Well worth the price and 7:00am pick-up. Alessandro has a charming, larger-than-life personality and he clearly cares that his customers learn about the products while having a great time.

This tour is fantastic and is run by the best tour guide I have ever seen in action, I do not know how Alessandro can be so enthusiastic, upbeat and entertaining on a trip he must have done hundreds of times. The tour is run very professionally with top class transport and all of the little details attended to, photos... More

And you will hear it again an again. Alessandro is wonderful, his team is first class, the days is just terrific. He was so engaging and knowledgable that we asked him to arrange an afternoon the following day visiting the Ferrari museum. Also, his recommendation of his friend Roberto's restaurant was our favorite meal. Highly recommended!!!

We had a fantastic time on this one day tour. Alessandro is a wonderful guide, passionate and wonderfully knowledgeable about Italian food. From start to finish this was a once in a lifetime experience. You haven't lived until you've feasted on parmigiana regiano and lambrusco for breakfast! Every part of the day was great and the 'light lunch' was the... More

My girlfriend and I found out about this trip (or actually, we looked up Bologna on tripadvisor) and the reviews and ratings on this one caught our attention. We managed to book it in the last minute and we couldn't be happier that we didn't miss out on this one. There isn't much we can say that hasn't been said.... More
