The only thing not outstanding about this tour is the 7am pickup, but that is for good reason, as you need to arrive early at the parmigiana factory to catch the cheese-making process. The Mercedes vans to transport you around are comfortable. The host, allesandro is fantastic. Incredibly knowlegeable about the process of making each food, enthusiastic and a terrific... More

I wish I could override Trip Advisor rating system and give Allesandro and the other people of Italian Days a “10” out of a possible 5! Alessandro and his Italian Days Food Experience was a genuine treat. Early in the morning we were picked up at our hotel in a clean and comfortable van. I was happy that they did... More

Alessandro and his Italian Days Food Experience was a real treat. It began with scheduling the event with his charming girlfriend Barbara via email, who ensures all the details. The day of the event, Alessandro and his driver Fabrizio picked us up at our hotel and immediately began entertaining us. The tours at the Parmigiano, Balsamico and Prosciutto facilities were... Unbelievable tour!!!!! The best food we had in Italy and what can to say about Alessandro?!!!!!! Passionate, funny, engaging, intelligent.......there aren't enough superlatives!!!! If you go to the Bologna / Emelia Romagna area and you have a day to do this.......you won't regret it. I still eat balsamico on my gelato!!!!!! We just finished our parmigiano reggiano and need more!!!!!!... More

My daughter and I and about 10 other guests from around the world spent a wonderful day with Alessandro visiting a cheese, Balsamic and Prosciutto factories. Alessandro is passionate , enthusiastic, witty and makes you feel right at home. A great guide to spend a day with. All three factories were great to visit and we learnt a great deal... More

This was perhaps the best thing we have done on this trip to Italy. Alessandro has so much energy and passion for what he does. He makes you feel like an old friend. It is informative and so much fun. The cheese factory, prosciutto factory and balsamic maker, are each the coolest places ever. You will be completely immersed in... More

We did the tour on 20 April and there were no regrets !! Alessandro was the life of the party and he explained everything in great detail. Don't have your breakfast, hell don't even take your dinner the night before. The "light" lunch was enough to fill our stomach for the rest of the day. MANGIA MANGIA !!! Would recommend... More

Alessandro's tour was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Croatia / Italy. I think we finally met someone who loves food mor than we do. Very knowledgeable and hilarious. We were with a group of about 10 people from around the world and we had a great time! A definite must for any foodie. We are still enjoying our... More

This was by far one of the highlights of our trip. Alessandro is excellent - charming, witty, informative, engaging, and fun! You are picked up early in the morning by van and taken to Modena to tour a Parmigiano-Reggiano factory, a Balsamic Vinegar farm, a Prosciutto production - all D.O.P. - followed by a wonderful lunch. We had a great... More

You will be enchanted! This tour is fabulous. I learned a lot about food I love, I tasted it with the added knowledge that Alessandro conveyed during the visits and in ways I could not have imagined before. I saw a beautiful region, met lovely people in the group I was with and we finished the day with a meal... More
