This is the best way to visit Vatican, this tour picks the best of it, you don't go around guessing on your own, and u don't loose your time with staying in a line once for the museums and then again for the Dome! Angelo was the best guide ever, he provided a lot of information, he was funny, entertaining... More

1ing1 amazing 1st review! We really adore your review its precisely why we take tours when we travel, you highlighted so well the reason we believe in our company and what we hope to offer. Fight for the live guide, the best amongst them are walking encyclopedias and always better than an audio guide. Debby More

We were nabbed by the What a life Tours on our way to the Vatican. We didn't have any preconceived plan or idea what we were going to do but felt that after being asked if we wanted a tour, we gave in. We were glad we did. After an introduction from the guide Marcello, (who was great) we walked... More

Shalom Hufsha! Thanks for pointing out that it is a good idea to have done a little research before coming to such a popular site, also know that if you had booked directly online with us, you would have not had to walk the intimidating walls of the Vatican, to get to our office, but met the guide directly at... We were introduced to this guided tour once we reached the square by Vatican and we were not keen on being dragged into a tour on the spot but I am glad we did! Marcello was a great guide, fluent in English and very knowledgable about the site. He also made the tour a lot of fun, I highly recommend... More

Hey Sezen, Its so great to hear from another Roman Capital! Im really glad you highlighted that doing a tour is not only about skip-ing the line (though that is a nice extra) to just walk through the Vatican can be such a waste, of your time and to pay a little more for the guide service enriches your experience... Amazing review Mand33! So glad you enjoyed the tour with Angelo and the additional extra of the Basilica St Peter's it is a truly amazing building, and well worth the extra time and money. Unfortunately we are only a small family run business in Rome so we don't have another office in New York (though we secretly wish we did).... More

“Standing alone at dawn in the Sistine Chapel - thankyou Ana!” We met at 6.45 am at the closed door to the Vatican Museums on a rainy day in January and Ana, our wonderful guide from What a Life Tours, pulled us under the porch to receive a mini lecture helped by her tablet, on the wonders of the Sistine... Do the early morning tour. It is absolutely amazing and was the highlight of our big overseas adventure. (We're from New Zealand - tiny island down under Australia in the tropics). It was so worth getting up very early and doing the morning tour before all the crowds and the heat of the day. And our guide was so knowledgeable.... More
