Our guide Grant was incredible knowledgable and kept us intrigued the entire tour. We quickly realised how much more we were going to get out of this guided tour than if we had gone on our own. We'll worth it.

our experience of what a life tours was very good, we gathered with others at a meeting point where we met our guide grant who was clear spoken, very knowledgeable and added a bit of humour. The only downside was that we would have liked to spend more time in the museum and at times seemed to be rushed .... More

What a fabulous tour! Beat the otherwise huge queue if you tried to go later. An early start, but well worth it!! Semi private tour of vatican, Sistine chapel & the basilica. In one word- impressive!!! and on a very grand scale! Tour- Very informative, we learnt a lot :). With a very knowledgeable & witty tour guide (Valeria) it... More

My wife and I decided to visit Italy and to stay in Roma as part of our honeymoon. As we only had a week to take in as many sites and experiences as possible we decided to invest in a guided tour of The Musei Vaticani. After looking online for guided tours it was easy to decide to go with... More

Our tour guide Anna was great. She paid extra attention to children and made the tour extremely interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican as you do not have to stand in queues for hours and it's lots of fun

We arrived at the Vatican with thousands of others and pre booked tickets. We were sceptical about going on an organised tour but this was the best decision ever. Angelo guided through the queues and gave us well informed explanations of many aspects of the history of the Vatican, its museums and St Peter's Basilica. If you are in any... More

We are so glad we took the tour with Grant, he was our exceptional guide. His knowledge is endless and his sense of humour kept us all completely engaged. His enthusiasm for his role did him credit as he tried to involve his group. The Vatican is a must do tour even if not religious as the history of the... More

Our tour guide Carlotta was very knowledgable, articulate and sensitive to everyone's needs. We learnt a lot from her and enjoyed her sense of humour. Taking the semi-private without the queues and crowds is highly recommended. A great experience!

We took a tour of the vatican with this company and loved every bit of it with our guide Grant. His touch of humor to history was most welcome!

I booked 'What a Life Tours' for our private Vatican tour after reading all the Positive Reviews on Trip Advisor. I have to say...it was a wonderful decision! I booked everything via the company's website, after a couple of emails to clarify if I really wanted a private tour or a group one. There were 6 of us and our... More
