This Tour was far better than we even thought it would be thanks to Marcello our guide. He was so informative, very helpful and even added a few jokes to lighten up the tour. What a Life Tours helped us retrieve our camera that was left in the taxi on our way to the Vatican. At the end of our... More

It was easy to find our allocated starting point and meet the set up guy early in the morning. Carlotta spent time preparing us before the doors opened for the tour groups. She showed us pictures and gave us information that had us ready and keen to view sacred and artistic masterpieces. Carlotta was a passionate and informative guide who... More

Very informative tour through Vatican. Grant was very knowledgeable. A much better option than trying to see it on your own and navigating through the crowds

My wife and 7 month old daughter booked two tours with What a Life. 1. Vatican City with Angelo: Overall, a great tour. Angelo was knowledgeable and you could tell, was one of the best guides. He guided our group very well in a really busy and small space and delivered information in a fresh and fun way. As Angelo... More

We had not planned to take a guided tour at all, but after a stroll to the Vatican in 30 degree heat and being approached by a pleasant chap telling us the wait would be 2 hours before we even got into the Sistine Chapel, we decided it would be the best course of action! There was no hard sell,... More

We had not planned a tour but we are really happy, that we did get this tour. Angelo is an excellent guide. He is dedicated, interesting to listen to and has a nice personality. We could easily have listened to him for a couple of hours more. At the end of the tour he suggested good places to eat. We... More

Our wonderful tour guide, Grant, was incredibly knowledgeable as he knows so much history, important facts but most importantly he engaged with all of us in the group. He was exciting and funny. I felt very proud of choosing this tour as I noticed other guides were not of the same breed so to say. Thank you Grant!!!

We really feel that we had a great experience touring the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica because of the preparation and delivery by our tour guide, Angelo. He was able to share his knowledge of the museums with additional information from his iPad. Knowing that there was to be no talking in the Sistine Chapel, he... More

This was a fantastic semi-private tour of the Vatican- having early access to the museum 1 hour before the public really makes seeing the Sistine chapel a whole new experience when there is no crowd! I would recommend semi private tours as there were only 10 people in our group. Our tour guide was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable.... More

There is so much one can say about visiting the Vatican! The museum spans centuries of some of the world's greatest art, the influence of Roman Catholicism on Western culture, and its collection of artifacts from all over the world. The magnificence of St. Peter's Bascilica and, of course, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. We went with a guide, Grant, from What... More
