We were recommended this tour by family, and it did not disappoint. Our guide Jowita was friendly and approachable and made exploring the Vatican more accessible and fun than it would have been without her assistance. She was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed finding out not just what we were looking at but the stories behind the various artefacts. The... More

I went with my brother and my mother on a tour with Angelo. He is so knowledgeable and taught us a great deal of information. He knew the ins and outs. We found that people from other tours were more interested in what he had to say. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

We were going to the Sistine Chapel and hadn't planed going on a guided tour (especially because of the prices but it was worth it and NOT just because we got to skip the huge queue). We were inundated with tour offers but the women who approached us from 'what a life tours' seemed to be the nicest and most... More

My husband and I visited Rome on our Honeymoon and did the What a Life Tour with Angelo as our tour guide. He really knew how to appeal to all kind of people in our group; he was entertaining, informative, and he really made it all come alive. We opted to continue our tour into St.Peter's Basilica, which was definitely... More

What a great company from beginning to end. Ana, who first approached us on the street, was super friendly and warm and took the time to explain the tour with no pressure to book on the spot. We came back the next day, and seamlessly joined the tour. Grant, our tour guide was incredible! An absolute wealth of knowledge was... More

Tour Guides make all the difference and Carlotta is the best in Italy. Private tour for 8 people ranging in age from 70 to 10. She made everyone feel special. It is hard for me to imagine a guide with better knowledge than Carlotta as she grew up in Rome. Would highly recommend this tour and this guide.

Grant has immense knowledge about the Vatican and add his own personal twist to the tour. His sense of humour (dry) and his own personal ideas about the place makes you think. He has a great knowledge about the Sistine chapel and the paintings pointing out thugs I never knew about the artists and the paintings themselves. He answers questions... More

Enjoyed an enthralling tour of the Vatican and it's wonders within, courtesy of our tour guide Angelo. He was informative and entertaining throughout the duration of a wonderful tour and his knowledge was greatly appreciated. The Vatican is a must see for any visitor to Rome and the incredible Sistine Chapel is truly a sight to behold. We paid a... More

My husband and I did a Vatican tour with Grant last Wednesday. We had no intentions of doing a tour because normally we find the tour guide monotoned and boring. Grant was none of those things. He was lively, funny, knowledgable and friendly. He took the time to get to know each person that was on the tour. We learned... More
