We found Grant and the What a life tours outside of the Vatican, as we had failed to book a tour prior to our trip. He was wonderful! Really gave us a great narration of both history and humor. He made the whole experience come alive for us. We highly recommend him for anyone- we had teenagers with us and... More

My wife and I are in Rome for the week, and we've had experiences with three different tours while here. Angelo and what a life tours were by far the best of the bunch. After feeling a bit 'burned' by the first tour company we visited with, we chose what a life tours and booked the Vatican tour, which exceeded... More

I was recommended this tour by a friend in UK. I'm someone who doesn't usually like tours but given the recommendation thought I would give it a go. Glad I did! Angelo was terrific. Very entertaining and fast paced so even my 3 young kids did not get bored. I would recommend highly. Added advantage is you miss the 3... More

Had an amazing tour today in the vatican. First time there and as soon as we got off the bus, one of the scouters told us about their tours where we joined a group later. We bypassed all the lines and Grant was an amazing guide with an amazing amount of knowledge and good sense of humor, always entertained. I... More

What a Life delivered great value in the midst of chaos and particularly our guide Grant - scholar, raconteur, stand-up comic and patient teacher. What a star

Our guide Grant was incredible knowledgable and kept us intrigued the entire tour. We quickly realised how much more we were going to get out of this guided tour than if we had gone on our own. We'll worth it.

our experience of what a life tours was very good, we gathered with others at a meeting point where we met our guide grant who was clear spoken, very knowledgeable and added a bit of humour. The only downside was that we would have liked to spend more time in the museum and at times seemed to be rushed .... More

What a fabulous tour! Beat the otherwise huge queue if you tried to go later. An early start, but well worth it!! Semi private tour of vatican, Sistine chapel & the basilica. In one word- impressive!!! and on a very grand scale! Tour- Very informative, we learnt a lot :). With a very knowledgeable & witty tour guide (Valeria) it... More

My wife and I decided to visit Italy and to stay in Roma as part of our honeymoon. As we only had a week to take in as many sites and experiences as possible we decided to invest in a guided tour of The Musei Vaticani. After looking online for guided tours it was easy to decide to go with... More

Our tour guide Anna was great. She paid extra attention to children and made the tour extremely interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican as you do not have to stand in queues for hours and it's lots of fun
