the art and tapestries are well worth the whole trip to rome. just wish we had more time there. the booked tour was worth skipping the long line, but not worth being rushed.

We were there on the 30th of Apr and so were 50,000 other people too crowded to enjoy I would hire a private guide and go at night go on a tour to guarantee entrance at a certain time and void lines

The tours take you through very fast and it was very crowded. Lines very long to get through. first the security line and then the ticket line. To get tickets ahead, must do so more than 60 days ahead. We paid E45 each from a street vendor and the guide was excellent (British). Some or our tours have been hard...

This is an enormous museum. So many different aspects. Unless you enjoy queuing, book in advance. Don't bother with booking sites - go directly to the museum's own site.

The Vatican Museum houses one of the largest collection in Italy, and by the largest collection also means the largest ques and crowd you could get. You can always book a tour r pre-book the tickets in order to skip the que, I was the unfortunate one to que for an hour and a half in order to get in....
