Presto gave us early access to the Vatican, which alone was very valuable. Our guide, Julia, gave us all earphones so we could hear her without having to be right next to her. That was an unexpected treat. But, she was a very gentle person so when we arrived at the pictures of the Sistine Chapel in the courtyard, where... More

If you can hire a private guide, your tour becomes a personal learning experience. It's also a way to pack MUCH more into whatever time you have, because you can skip long lines at places like the Vatican. And if your guide happens to be the delightful Marina Daga, your day will be pleasant, informative, and memorable. She was patient,... More

We booked a semi private tour of the Vatican City, St Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel with Presto Tours. Constantine was our guide for a tour. We were there with 2 other couples 10 mins before the start of the tour as instructed. There was no tour guide or orange signs to be seen. As the clock neared 8am,... More

Hello, I am so sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, the guide was a a last minute substitute guide this day as our scheduled guide had an emergency. It breaks our hearts when a substitute guide does not work out. We would be happy to send you a refund covering the full cost of the tour. Please contact us via email... More

Our semi-private tour was quite enjoyable. As there were only six of us, we had full access to our guide, Constantino--an astrophysicist and theologian who studied at Yale. (One wonders why he's giving tours instead of building rockets!) Although his science-based education was obvious during the tour (he was very soft-spoken and contemplative throughout) his insight and instruction were very... More

We went with Presto because of the many five star reviews, but I should have read the one star reviews as well. There's another review on here that mirrors my experience exactly. We arrived ten minutes early on the day, the time they recommend, and proceed to the meeting point - the left end of the staircase opposite the Vatican... More

Our tour guide spoke English very well, guided our group efficiently, and was filled with interesting information. She was very likeable and made the tour, on a very hot day, enjoyable.

There was a queue for the Vatican tour. A lot of time was spent waiting for everyone to arrive which delayed the tour from starting on time. Delayed by half an hour. Other tour guides in the close vicinity were a lot more organised and had pre organised the box of Vatican specific headsets to give out. We on the... More

The tour to Siena was excellent. The guides were excellent and very nice people. The visit at San Gimignano was very interesting and we finish with a wine tasting and it was some very good wine. I recommend the tour to anyone.

Constantine was our tour guide. While extremely knowledgeable and kind, he was a little too soft-spoken, and it was often hard to hear him. We were fortunate to be the only family on this tour, so we got his undivided attention. We had our 2 teens with us, and while they really enjoyed the tour, it would've been nice if... More
