I visited Rome with my wife and two teenage sons in October. Whilst there we thought it would be good to watch a football match. We got ourselves to the Olympic Stadium about an hour and a half before kick off as we needed to buy tickets. At the entrance to the ground we were directed to the club shop... More

We took the 3 hour Rome Walks tour of the Vatican. Our guide was very knowledgeable, providing details about what we were seeing, but we felt we were listening to a recitation from a history book -- not a " lively" presentation . ( we have gone on many walking tours both in Europe & New York & know how... More

We booked a private tour of the Vatican and it turned out to be a great choice. Josephine met us at our hotel and she was a wonderful tour guide. Her knowledge was impressive and I am sure we barely scratched the surface. I also cannot imagine trying to tour the Vatican without a guide of some sort like this.... More

This was amazing! My wife booked this 7:15PM guided tour in the Vatican Museum which included the Sistine Chapel. Our small group guide, also art historian, Maria Rosario led us with skill, conversation and passion for the space, the art and as important, the venue. In the past, I had not felt the need for guide and self guided. Maria... More

We were in Rome the end of September 2014. We took the Jewish Ghetto / Trastevere walk with Lauren and the Ancient City and Colosseum Walk with Justin. We were the only people signed up for the Jewish Walk the day we were scheduled. It turns out the guide was ill that day and Rome Walks did an excellent job... More

My husband and I pre-booked the Twilight Tour with Rome Walks. We had arrived in Rome only a few hours before but managed to make it to the meeting place with the instructions provided. Our guide was late but after spending 3 weeks in Italy it started to feel like the norm. She extremely knowledgeable and easy to speak with.... More

We had 3 tours with Rome walks - Vatican, Colosseum and Trastevere. Frankly after the first tour I was ready to cancel the rest - the guide Josephine was so unmotivated that practically the main benefit of taking the tour was to get "skip the line" tickets. She was 15 minutes late, didn't apologize for that, forced 2 rest stops... More

Last week we had a chance to return to Rome, after 10 years, with friends who were new to Italy. We had taken tours with Rome Walks with our daughter previously and enjoyed both, so we decided to try again, mainly for our friends. We are certainly glad we did! We took both the Coliseum and Ancient Rome tour and... More

We were fortunate to have Maria Rosario lead our walk. She was warm, personable and informative. She kept talking through out the sometimes physically demanding walk through the forum and colosseum. Being with the tour gave us priority addmission avoiding the long lines and having someone explain the sites added an extra layer of appriciation. Our group was small and... More

Vatican tour- booked this based on friend's awesome experience and we were not disappointed! My husband was really only going because he felt it was a "must do" but not excited about it...We had 2 couples total and we all agreed it was wonderful. Our guide is an Art History major and very passionate about art, history and Rome! She... More
