Stuart and Vicky sturges uk..This is our first time with this company and we didn't know what to expect..we had a guide called Louisa and she couldn't be more passionate about her job. It was myself my husband and the guide so it was brilliant. We didn't have to use those horrible earpieces and she was very easy to understand.... More

We booked a tour of the Roman Forum on an exceptionally hot day even by local standards. The directions to the meeting point were quite good although the spot was very exposed to the sun and it was uncomfortable standing there whilst waiting for the late arrivals. The mobile intercom system was a must given the surrounding hustle and bustle... More

Our guide did an incredible job sprinkling in being Roman and her experiences living in the city with the Colosseum, Forum, and Palantine Hill tour. Her knowledge of the history of Rome and everything surrounding that area was second to only the energy she brought to the discussion.

We booked a small group tour for the Vatican and ended up with just the four of us in our party, led by our tour guide Francesca. We could not have asked for a better experience! Francesca has a PhD in Art History and not only possesses the knowledge but knows how to artfully explain the history behind the sites... More

What a tremendous experience! Our guide was Simone ("Simon") - an archaeologist - and native Roman who made our tour of the Vatican unforgettable last week. Firstly, it can be incredibly difficult keeping the attention of children on a four-hour tour but Simone had us all enthralled with his anecdotes, insights and historical knowledge. We were fortunate to have our... More

We pre-booked 2 private tours with Rome Walks for my family of 6 adults, one of the Vatican Museum and one of the Forum and Colosseum. In both tours the guides were FANTASTIC! They each knew so much about the art, history, culture and significance of the sites and artifacts. What's more, we were in Rome during a crushingly-busy time,... More

We did 3 tours with Rome Walks. The evening 2 hour city tour, Vatican/Sistine Chapel, Coliseum - Palatine Hill. All were very good. We had Maria on the Vatican tour and thought she was especially terrific.

We were lucky to have a wonderful local to show us around Rome every evening for the week. We ate where the locals ate and of course sampled the best gelato ever. The squares and areas for sitting and contemplating are wonderful. People friendly and very helpful.

We had an absolutely marvelous tour with Francesca through the Vatican. She is an art historian who is almost finished with her PhD and it shows. She was engaging and informative and was able to give a perspective of someone who obviously has a love for the subject. We found her enthusiasm to be infectious and we had a thoroughly... More
