My family of five chose to tour the Coliseum, the Forums and Palatine Hill with City Wonders because the 3 pm timeframe best fit our schedule. The price was just under 60 euros per person which we felt was in-line with other tour companies. This price offered skip-the-line entry to the Colosseum and also included the 12 euro per person... We booked the colosseum underground tour which was absolutely fantastic! The tour included going to the underground of the colosseum, the Roman forum and the hill. The duration was roughly 3 hours or so. Long but worth it. Our tour guide was very good and so knowledgeable. She was also good at looking after us all with toilet breaks and... More

We did three tours with City Wonders and enjoyed them all. Our favorite was the Dark Heart of Rome Tour as the stories were really interesting. We also did the Vatican which was very informative and the Colosseum tour for children which we did with out teens. I though our guide was excellent however there was a little too much... More

great tour in Rome, took us through into the Sistine Chapel before anyone else, got to look around before any other groups - great!! No huge crowds, got to spend as much time as we wanted, then free to take in the Vatican museums at our leisure. Wonderful! so glad we booked this one!

Avoiding the lines and heat was incredibly worthwhile. The information the guide provided before entering the chapel helped us to appreciate what we were seeing. We also took her advice to head straight to St Peter's Basilica while it was still quiet.

This was a great tour, for 3 hours going through the colosseum, roman forum and palatine hill. You are on your feet the whole time, and it was hot in summer and lots of the tour is outdoors, but Fabio our guide did a great job of finding shady spots to explain things and giving us time to fill up... Best tour of our holiday. Picked up early (0715) from a city centre location. Here we met our tour guides. Mike is an awesome Californian with a great sense of humour and is very knowledgeable. He spent the entire coach trip down to Pompeii giving great historical facts in a really relaxed story telling manner. We stopped at a local... More

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and catered to English speakers. She was concerned for her groups enjoyment through the entire tour. We moved at a comfortable pace, had breaks but saw everything.
