Though we didn't have the timing problems mentioned in previous reviews - the bus was pretty much available when we were ready to get on it - we were not happy with this tour. The recorded commentary was monotonous, out of sync with where we were and not very interesting. It was also a bit hard to hear, though that... more

We too bought tickets for this bus from our tour guide while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Why they use this company I do not know. Basically as Rome is not THAT big you would be better off buying a good map and walking. Alternatively, buy tickets for this bus and be totally ripped off!! As others have said the... more

I was sold the tickets whilst on a trip from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship - visiting Rome. We had used a similar service in Lisbon which was fine. The 110 was abysmal. None of the earphones worked and the driver stopped at the bus station and disappeared for 30 minutes. No indication that he was going or for how... more

Our first attempt at catching the archeobus was a couple of years ago on our first trip although after reading other experiences I see it could have been worse! The actual pickup spot on Pz.Venezia was unclear and we spent quite some time running from one corner to the other. Eventually some kind person told us it was leaving from... more

Just back from Rome and the only thing about the whole trip that let us down was the service provided by Roma 110. We bought two 24 hour open tickets at 20 Euros each and took our seats. What quickly became clear is that we weren’t following anything like the route advertised. It turns out that this is because there... more

Oh how I wish I'd seen the previous reviews before we went to Rome... We spent 1 day in Rome on a recent cruise and bought tickets for the trambus at CIVITAVECCHIA . The tour seemed to be our perfect option having only a few hours to see the main sights. On arrival at Roma Termini we waited in vain... more

The route was changed for Sunday but the map remained the same. This caused confusion not only to me but to other people on the bus. The earphone sets seemed only to work half the time, and the commentary was often out of sync. Made the open tour in Paris seem super by comparison. The sad thing was that the... more

My boyfriend and i were in Rome for three days and decided to try the 110/archeobus for two of the days. The 110 bus takes you to all of the sights around rome, and the archeobus takes you south to all the old catacombs and attractions out of the city. We decided to head south the first day on the... more

My husband and I just got back from 3 nights in Rome. We were recommended by our hotel to take the 110 red double-decker bus tour of the city. We wanted a way to ride around the city and just look at the sights first and this was our absolute favorite thing we did. We were told where to find... more
