summer we took 3 of their tours - Ancient Rome, Palatine Hill, and the Vatican. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our day in ancient rome with Thomas. His enthusiasm was infectious and his love and familiarity with ancient rome enriched our experience a hundred-fold. He made the stones live for us. His gifts became even more... more

I took the Palatine Hill tour with Graceyln in October 2009. This was one of the most memorable tours I have ever taken. Graceyln had the uncanny ability to bring the Roman forum to life, as our group overlooked the ruins. It was as if the buildings reconstructed themselves before my very eyes, as she described how they were originally... more

We had Gabriel for the Vatican Tour. He is American and was very easy to understand, and his knowledge was impressive. We were in Rome for a week, and this tour was one of our highlights. We were worried that a 5 hour tour would be tiring, but thought a shorter tour wouldn't be long enough for Vatican City. The... more

We booked the two day private tour of Rome. 10 and 12 year daughters who were tired of paintings from our stay in Florence..... Two days with Ian was a great solution. He kept the girls entertained with a good combination of cultural aspects and entertaining stories. Its a lot of walking, but the girls never seemed to mind and... more

My husband and I did the Vatican tour with Brandon who is from Canada. It is great to have native english guides. We booked the 3.5 hour tour but it went over which was fine, because Brandon made the tour so interesting that the time went by quickly. The Vatican is huge and would be very confusing if we had... more

My husband and I booked several tours with Through Eternity--Forum/Coloseum and Palatine Hill with Thomas. We spent most of the day with him--didn't rush us at all through the tours. Thomas was just suberb as a guide!! He brought dust, rocks, old buildings and statues to life with interesting facts! Our group of eight even went to lunch with him... more

I visited Rome last week for five days and was searching the web for tour services as I wanted to get the most of my time in the city. So, before leaving New York I booked two tours with Through Eternity for my first day there. That day I did both the "Underground Rome" with Justin and "Rome at Twilight"... more

We had the pleasure of having five tours with five different tour guides; Rome at Twilight (Brandon), Colosseum & Roman Forum (Rob), Palatine Hill (Ian), St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums (Gabriel), and Underground Rome - Ancient and Medieval (Thomas). Each guide was very personable. All were knowledgeable, dedicated, very informative, and easy to understand. More impressively, they were... more
