Underground Rome - an incredible tour!

We had already taken tours through the Vatican Museum and the Colosseum (both outstanding!) and saw this tour on the web site. The tour is called Underground Rome, but could just as well have been called "Rome through a Time Machine". Our guide was an archeologist who was able to walk us through what we were seeing. On the surface... More

I was in Rome in late February of this year & booked 2 tours thru this group after receiving a couple of recommendations from friends. If you've made it this far, im betting someone recommended them to you too, right? Do it. Seriously. Your friends are right, trust me. Doesn't matter which tour you book. Interested in which tours we... More

We had a delightful "small group" (<13 people) tour of the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica with Thomas. It was a very busy day there (what else is new?) on May 2, but Thomas helped us navigate the crowds and made the waits/walks/time so enjoyable by sharing a great deal of information with us. Prior to the... More

We booked three tours with Through Eternity: Borghese Gallery tour with John, Underground Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with Luca and Early Access to Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums and St Peter's tour with Caterina. We were extremely happy with all three tours. Through Eternity has assembled a team of professional, well educated and personable guides who provided informative, engaging... More

We booked a five hour tour of the Forum, Palatine Hill and underground Colosseum. Most of the tour was fragments of buildings and sometimes only a column or two remained. Yet, our tour guide (Massimo) was able to make the stones come to life. He told us stories, showed drawings, and answered every question we had. The best part of... More

We booked a 5 hr. in-depth tour of the Colosseum and the Forum, and we just had 6 in our group with John. He made the time fly by with all the knowledge he had to share. The meeting place was easy to find. He made Ancient Rome come alive for us.

Wow! What an informative tour. My husband and I did the Forum and the Colosseum (and underground) tour with Through Eternity and we couldn't have asked for more. Our guide, Frederica, was excellent and gave a thorough and insightful look to Ancient Rome. This tour required a lot of walking so if you do not like to be on your... More

This tour was one of our Italy highlights. Absolute value for money, to be shown around the Forum and Colosseum by a Roman loving archaeologist. Francesca was extremely knowledgeable and never tired of talking about the history of Rome from BC to recent times. The five hours flew by and we really appreciated the small group size (6-8) and the... More

Emma is not just a professional, but also a great performer, a conversational artist! Her highly idiosyncratic explanation on the Colosseum tour kept my husband and me engaged for five hours. Only this solid expansive examination could make one who's not fully equipped with historical familiarity appreciate that tragic, enchanting past glory. Of course, a touch of British humor and... The Eternity Tour of the Vatican with our guide "Kat" was very well done. She kept us moving and engaged providing highlights between in depth background of selected points. Our Vatican visit was definitely enhanced with this service.
