We took 3 tours with this company a Roman ruins tour, a Vatican tour and a Florence tour. All the guides were spectacular and very experienced. They were pleasurable and knew how to get you around. I was most impressed with our guide in Florence who knew people at all the locations we visited and was able to even bypass... More

Our tour guide Mario, did a great job relating the history of the 3 churches we visited from pre-Roman , through Roman, the arrival of Christianity, the Dark Ages, finally into the Renaissance. His knowledge and enthusiasm made this history come to life. I recommend this tour for serious history lovers.

Our guide Mauritizio made the underground tour a wonderful and memorable five hours! He has a background in archeology which allowed him to answer our questions with expert knowledge. We learned so much - he made the five hours fly by! Would highly recommend this tour- it's expensive but it captures the importance and histoty of these ruins.

This was the second of two tours that I booked with Through Eternity during our family holiday to Rome (2 adults and a 12 year old boy). The early morning tour of Sistine Chapel and the Vatican museums was a wonderful experience, made all the more great by Eugenia, our guide who brought alive the history and richness of the... More

We recently went on an early morning tour of the Vatican with tour guide Raoul. He was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable about art, history & religion. We first saw the Vatican Museums then the Sistine Chapel and finally St Peter's Basilica. Raoul explained so much to our small group and answered any and all questions very patiently. I highly... We recently toured Italy and decided to signup for this tour viewing the underground structures of three churches. We were extremely lucky on two counts. First,Mario was our guide and second was only three of us in the group. Mario was extremely knowledgeable and captivating. He slowed down his walking pace for those that had some problems walking up Rome's... More

We have used Through Eternity on every trip to Rome. This time we were traveling with friends who had never been to Rome. I couldn't think of a better way to utilize their time and still be enjoyable and new for us. On Saturday we were met at our hotel very early by Paolo for our pre-opening visit to the... More

We did the 3.5 hour tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. It was a lot of ground to cover in such a short period of time. Our guide, Cecilia, did it with ease, great knowledge and wonderful organizational skills. She gave us a great overview and highlighted what was important. We could not have been happier... More

On our recent trip to Rome, my mom and I did the Roman Forum/Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel/Vatican Museum tour. Francesca, our guide, was simply wonderful! She was engaging, humorous, and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Seriously amazing! We were never bored and didn't feel like we'd missed a thing. A very rich experience! Wear sunscreen for the Roman Forum and... More
