Why is everybody dissing Carrani? We were in Rome and took the one day trip to Capri. Started out at 7:30 a.m. The bus trip to Naples takes about 3 hours with about a 25 minute rest halfway. Our guide, Marco, spoke 3 languages and provided interesting details about the various cities and landmarks that we saw on the way.... More

We booked this tour through Expedia. We were especially happy with the cooking class. It took place at It's Amore' and we made pasta. The restaurant then prepared what we had made and served it with some delicious sauces, bread, and wine. Terrific! Would do over on another trip!

We took the three-day Carrani Tour, booked thrugh Viator. Like all packaged tours it had its ups, downs, and in-betweens. But overall, we saw a lot and are glad we did it. We'd give it 3 1/2 stars if the system allowed. Rome to Naples. The hotel pickup wasn't really, we had to drag our luggage through the early morning... More

Vatican Gardens/Sistine Chapel Tour- Voucher tells us to meet at a Cafe across from Vatican Museum entrance. We arrive before 8:15am as requested and wait around with a couple dozen other confused people. Someone finally arrives a few minutes after 8:30am to do the check-in. The tour guide finally arrives a few minutes after that, and promptly tells us no... More

Booked an airport transfer from our Rome hotel to the airport through Viator (who don't confirm Carrani are the providers of the service until after you have booked) and reconfirmed with Carrani as directed 24 hours prior to our scheduled pick up time. We were told we would be picked up from the hotel at 3am. 3:15 came and no... More

We took the 5 days tour of Rome,Florence and Venice and it was a good Tour. We had in charge of our group Carlos who was fluent in English and Sabatino as our driver who was great in taking us around. Our trip to Florence via Sienna was very smooth. Florence was great.Hotel accommodation was good and our guide Fabio... More

I had booked Vatican tours on successive mornings. The first Gardens/Museums/Sistine and the second Early Access Sistine. The actual tour of the Vatican gardens etc was really good - a knowledgeable, personable guide and there were no problems there. The Early Access tour was, as expected, not so much a tour as an escorting into the museums very early and... More

The tour was excellent. Our guide (Sigi) was very thorough. Her knowledge of art, history is exceptional. I was a little worried reading other reviews, but the whole walk thorough the garden with very thorough review of history was exceptional. Our group (8 persons) came from four different continents, thus her job was very difficult. She passed this "exam" with... More

Before you book... ask name of local travel agent then avoid Carrani. I saw previous bad reviews...Yes, I agree all !!... We had exactly same experiences... More

Our travel agent in Australia booked two tours for my partner and I with this tour company- Vatican museums tour (included the Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and St. Peter's Basilica) in the morning and then the Ancient Rome walking tour (colosseum and Palatine Hill area) in the afternoon. We were told that in between tours we would have enough time... More
