Booked an airport transfer from our Rome hotel to the airport through Viator (who don't confirm Carrani are the providers of the service until after you have booked) and reconfirmed with Carrani as directed 24 hours prior to our scheduled pick up time. We were told we would be picked up from the hotel at 3am. 3:15 came and no... More

We took the 5 days tour of Rome,Florence and Venice and it was a good Tour. We had in charge of our group Carlos who was fluent in English and Sabatino as our driver who was great in taking us around. Our trip to Florence via Sienna was very smooth. Florence was great.Hotel accommodation was good and our guide Fabio... More

I had booked Vatican tours on successive mornings. The first Gardens/Museums/Sistine and the second Early Access Sistine. The actual tour of the Vatican gardens etc was really good - a knowledgeable, personable guide and there were no problems there. The Early Access tour was, as expected, not so much a tour as an escorting into the museums very early and... More

The tour was excellent. Our guide (Sigi) was very thorough. Her knowledge of art, history is exceptional. I was a little worried reading other reviews, but the whole walk thorough the garden with very thorough review of history was exceptional. Our group (8 persons) came from four different continents, thus her job was very difficult. She passed this "exam" with... More

We, family 4 of us booked through reputable Australian travel agent but this agent contracted to Carrani tour. So be careful !.. you wouldn't know which local travel agent will take care of you. Before you book... ask name of local travel agent then avoid Carrani. I saw previous bad reviews...Yes, I agree all !!... We had exactly same experiences... More

Our travel agent in Australia booked two tours for my partner and I with this tour company- Vatican museums tour (included the Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and St. Peter's Basilica) in the morning and then the Ancient Rome walking tour (colosseum and Palatine Hill area) in the afternoon. We were told that in between tours we would have enough time... More

We were to be picked up from Rome airport (prepaid to Viator) & taken to our hotel. No one showed up. We went to Carrani tours at the airport who was so rude that another vendor apologized. We emailed Viator and called but got no response. Once our concierge called they responded & said sorry..you waited to long. Do not... More

Today we went in the Vatican and Gardens tour with Carrani Tours, the guide was excellent, she really knew her stuff and history, the garden tour was awesome along with the Vatican itself, the Sistine Chapel was great, the guide knew what she was doing and we hardly had to line up anywhere, obviously this time if the year the... Rude staff, an old uncomfortable oversold bus, and a visit of a place that we never got to. Paid $200pp for a day trip to Capri, Italy. The brochure promised a tour of the island and the Blue Grotto (National Geographic lists it as one of the 100 must-see places in Europe). The tour of the island was actually a... More

Totally disorganized. Half hour late, no benches. Bus right in front of the group and had disability and wouldn't let on first. Never again
