STAY AWAY from this agency! They literally rip you off and seem proud of it. My main purpose to visit Rome during Christmas was to attend the Christmas eve mass in St. Peter's Basilica. When I saw their brochure and read about the “Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and Midnight Mass at St Peters Basilica”, my hotel reception called them and... More

Firstl, this is my first time in Rome and this tour was a total ripoff. $175.00 euros was was absolutely too much for this tour. The panoramic tour was an absolute joke, very rushed since they were late. DInner was a disaster. I was not sure what we were eating. There was no meat in any of the courses, from... More

Wow. The tour started in the early morning. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, which was comforting because it was our first day in Rome and we did not know our way around yet. Prior to the start of the tour we were sorted out into smaller groups. We were given headphones with little radios so we could... More

Our hotel made arrangements for us and the Carrani people did everything they said they would do, including picking us up and delivering us back to our hotel. We would use them again for a day trip!

We did a tour to Pompeii with Carrani Tours on 29th November 2014 which we booked with the hotel staff on their recommendation. I wanted to write this review (first in my life that I ever bothered with) to warn you in case that you are interested in booking it because I and my husband thought they were just pathetic.... We booked 2 tours from this company before we arrived in Rome. We did the Amalfi coast tour which took in Pompeii, Isle of Capri and Amalfi. Was really good and the accommodation was excellent. Good driver and the guides were very informative and helpful. Next tour was Rome to Venice stopping along the way at various towns with 2... More

There are many bus companies touring Rome. I am sure some are better than others. They all like to profit from the lucrative tourist dollars. We choose this company because they have a good deal after 3PM where you can take the whole route for a much smaller fee. We did this the day of our arrival because we were... More

Travelled as a couple and did both the Ancient Rome walking Tour and the Pompeii and Naples Tour. Both tours were great and our tour guides were fantastic and very informative. I would say the the stop in Naples was a waste of time as you're only there for 45 mins and don't get to see much. Overall though they... More

We took a tour in Rome of the Vatican with Carrani Tours. It was a torrential downpour that day and we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off blocks from the meeting point. Once the bus dropped us we walked a good distance to a square outside the Vatican where we were to be corralled for about a... More

My husband and I had the misfortune of booking with this tour group through another provider!! Spent a lot of time waiting around for tour to attractions to start so visits were so brief, felt we missed out on seeing the places like Capri. Had large groups on tour with two different languages. Our day trip tp Isle of Capri... More
