My husband and I traveled to Rome in November. We took 4- hour tour of Colosseum , Forum and Plantine Hil with a private tour guide -Alessandro from “ROADS TO ROME” and he was very passionate and knowledgeable and really brought the history to life as he guided us through the tour. As there’s so much to see and learn... More

Gioanni Vergineo is a well informed, flexible and fun guide. Seeing Tivoli & Hadrian's Villa through his eyes was a perfect introduction to both sites. Really, we could not have asked for a better education of the arts and antiquities in Rome. Our only regret was that he did not have more free time.

Not having been in Rome for many many years I sought out a tour guide with a bit of trepidation but after some research I found Giovanni of Roads to Rome Tours. We focused on one tour that day – the Vatican and its museums. And the result… my wife and I could not have been happier. It’s not just... More

My husband and I traveled to Rome in November. The history of Rome runs throughout centuries and we were not comfortable exploring this city without professional guidance. Giovanni kindly agreed to rescue us. We spent amazing three days with Giovanni taking different trips across the city. We also took the trip to Tivoli to visit both Hadrian's Villa and Villa... Hello, and thank you for your kind review. I'm glad you enjoyed my tour so much: it's always hard to make the clients happy when the Vatican is so crowded, but I'm glad that you appreciated my efforts and were able to appreciate the treasures of the Renaissance that we saw. I'm also happy that you thought my tour was... More

Giovanni is an outstanding tour guide!! He is very knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I have been fortunate to have Giovanni serve as a tour guide for the Vatican Museum and the Villa Borghese! He gives an outstanding introduction into the history and the relevant facts of the locale. He then asks if there are any questions or areas of clarification!... More
