Allessandro is a great teacher as he guides you through the wines and foods of Italy. It is a very nice setting, away from Roscioli's, but close enough to go get something if he needs it. We enjoyed the wines, the meats and the cheeses as well as the history and information. I would recommend it to anyone who is... More

We went here for wine tasting and dinner. There are so many other wonderful things you can do in Rome, don't waste a night here! The man running the wine tasting talks too much, slow on pouring the wine. The room is VERY small with no windows and the bathroom is like an employee bathroom that isn't even for the... More

Dear Pamela, what can I say? I'm deeply sorry you had a bad time. It seemed you didn't like anything. I'm trying to see how I can improve my tastings based on your critics. Our restroom is cleaned 4 times a day but I agree is not a professional restroom. Is it enough for such a bad critic? I speak... More

How else can you describe a dream of wine, exquisite food and astounding knowledge and experience, all through one fun, exciting evening!! Roscioli's wine tasting evening is something to dream about and surreal when experiencing it. They accommodated our requests to try a couple of white wines ( since my girlfriend is allergic to reds) and were MORE that willing... More

Absolutely superb evening spent drinking fine wine and eating fantastic food. Alessandro's passion for wine is obvious & it was a pleasure to listen and learn from him. I can't recommend this the wine and food tasting highly enough. Faultless.

Alessandro is very lively and opinionated about wine (if you just drink French wine - you are good) BUT we sampled some amazing wines and had even bettter food, so he can back up his opinions :) the pairings were amazing! this was definitely a highlight of our trip. Would recommend this to anyone who loves food and wine and... More

My husband and another couple attended the wine tasting with Alessandro and we loved it. He is not only extremely knowledgable but hilarious with some of his information which makes it such a fun night. The food was fantastic and well parided with the tastings. Be prepared for quite a bit of wine too. We would definitely do it again.... More

This was a great way to learn more about Rome and Italy through sampling it's fine food and wine. I never knew goat cheese could taste so good! The food and wine pairings were superb and our host was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. I would definitly recommend this tour.

Alessandro leads the evening describing his views and advice about tasting Italian wine. He serves wonderful small plates to accompany each wine. All were exquisite. There were about 20 of us around his table bar which is located in a quaint back alley in a small room perfect for the size of the group. All of us learned so much... More

Spent a great evening tasting off the beaten path wines from various regions of Italy. Alessandro is a great host and educator. We shared great wine tasting stories well into the night and topped off the evening with a great bottle of Champagne from the cellar.
