A great shopping galleria, quite small but with a variety of shops, and a couple of cafes to have a coffee. We travelled during Christmas time, so it was nicely decorated. Its location is very central as it is on Via del Corso, one of the most commercial streets of the city. Impressive in the evening, as it is illuminated.... More

Found this little gem while walking around the city of Rome and was so great we stumbled upon this mall. Though all we did was pretty much window shop, we did find a nice local purse boutique where the staff was very friendly. Loved walking around checking out the different stores and there were several coffee shops along the way... More

Previously called Galleria Colonna, this shopping center is better known for the well furnished bookshop and luxury brand stores. Especially fabulous during the Christmas period, when all the Galleria dresses up for the festivites.

We were surprised to see a 15 euro fixed-price buffet at the Galleria Restaurant Alberto Sordi. The price included drink + bread. The buffet was full of good quality food: antipasti, potatoes, meat, vegetables, rice etc with tiramisu and fresh fruit salad. The service was efficient and friendly with the staff letting us know that they were about to clear... More

This mall is very comfortable and inviting. While the stores are definitely upscale many were running sales so my wife found good prices.

We sit at the gran caffè to order two salads. We waited for 30 minutes without being noticed by the Bangladesh waiter. The we stood up and talked to the waiter an estimate of timing to take an order. No way. After further 20 minutes we went to the cashier asking for table service without having any support. Finally after... More

The location of the shopping mall is probably why this place get such a high rating. Can not complain about the looks eithet it is beautiful. Draw Backs: my biggest complaint must be the facilities. I could only find one restroom with only two wc inside. Had to wait in line for ages. Had expected more. Second catch, there are... More

Beautiful and elegant shopping mall. A visit to this mall is a must. A very different experience from the America concept of Shopping Malls. Stop by when sightseeing on Via del Corso.

We arrived here on our first day in Rome and were amazed - the place is just gorgeous! Feels like real Rome, very European, and very enjoyable.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
