When my family and I (4people) arrived to rome, we couldn't find the terravsion station easily. But worst of all, when we were in Termini station to get on the bus to go to the airport, unfortunately we realized that we miss our bus. I try to explain that we must get on the next bus because our plain takes off... More

Complete lack of info. I could see it would be quiet easy to get the coach to the wrong airport ! the waiting cafe is excellent, but the coach was driven by someone who dumped the clutch and therefore the drive was less than smooth. be prepaired to handle your own cases into the storage area at the siode of... 4 euros each way, booked online. The bus of 18:00, left 35 mins earlier. Also, although you had the online ticket, you should go earlier at their place, get a boarding pass and show both the ticket and the boarding pass at their bus crew. A bit confusing, but probably the cheapest way to get to Fiumicino and Ciampino

Was offered the option to purchase tickets (Euro5) before boarding the flight at Barcelona El Prat airport. Had researched beforehand and known either to take Terravision or TAM bus as the most economical travel to Termini hence purchased it thinking it would save the time queueing at FCO later on. Would not risk purchasing online with selected time as afraid... More

Getting onto the transfer at rome airport wasn’t as issue. The issue started when the bus pulled over on the side of a 110km/h freeway and started reversing up the freeway into on-coming traffic. I felt like an accident waiting to happen. After that the bus pulled into a service bay and the driver got off and started unloading all... More

Booked terravision bus from fiumicino airport to termini station. Buses overbooked, not enough space for luggage. Yelled at by staff. It was a chaos with everyone pushing and shoving. Finally just took a different bus T.A.M. line, for which we paid another 10 euros. They were much more efficient and cordial. So this experience resulted in lots of stress and... More

Refused to accept our online reservation and the employee laughed at us when we said we couldn't print it. Then ignored us to talk with her coworker with a line behind us. She then said all we could do was buy another ticket and refused to mention we could print them across the street which we found out later. We... More

We arrived at Ciampino airport and noticed the signs for bus transport into Rome. We got our luggage and went to the desk to purchase tickets but were told to buy the tickets on the bus. We headed outside to find a large crowd of people all standing about at the bus stop. We stood for a least 30 minutes... More

From the Airport to city there was no problem. Cost was 5 Euros and about one hour journey to Termini station. Returning was a big problem. We arrived at the Termini about four hours before our flight and there was no bus. The next available bus was scheduled to 8 pm, and our flight would depart at 9 pm. So... More

This service might look at start, as good value for money but believe me it's not! Long waits on departure from Chiampino airport in the scorching sun. Air condition in the bus is inadequate. Times on returning buses are a shambles. Stuff at their desk on Termini station are rude and loud. Departing times from the station inaquerate...nearly cost us... More

Staying in Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Neighborhood Profile
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City
If all roads lead to Rome, then they all end here. Piazza Venezia and the Ancient City are the very epicenter of the Eternal City. Within a 360-degree turn, Roman history unrolls in front of you, from its ancient beginnings to its 21st century transformations. Whether it’s those historical playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this neighborhood packs a cultural punch and then some. Screaming scooters, battling buses, crazy cars, and lots of foot traffic converge in the area all day long. By dusk, a different vibe emerges as the neighborhood quiets down. Don't be surprised if you find yourself passing through the Piazza Venezia at least once a day, since it’s the most direct way to get from one side of town to another.
