We experienced terrible service from Termini to Ciampino. The blonde at the front desk was hugely unhelpful and must have no concept of customer service whatsoever. She spoke to other people who were next to her in the booth (in Spanish), and barely acknowledged our questions, even though their bus was delayed! Considering the fact that they're supposed to provide... More

Well, I don't have much good to say really. Arrived at Campiano Airport with our booking already made through expedia.. Instructions said to go and wait at Bus Stop 3... First lie... so we saw a terravison bus pull up at Stop 1 so we queued in the massive queue here.. We managed to get to the front of the... More

TERAVISION AIRPORT TRANSFER! 1. Dirty and old buses to Ciampino and clean and new for Fumicino! If they consider passengers flying from Ciampino B' class, they could not undertake there! So simple! 2. Charge of 4 € one way from airport to city, because there is competition there, 6 € one way from Termini, because from there depart only this... More

My boyfriend and I took the Terravision bus from Termini station to Fiumicino airport and I just couldn't believe it when I saw cockroaches climbing on the passengers...It was simply disgusting...plus the fact that the bus floor was full of a sort of powder which smelled like insecticide...and our backpacks were covered in it...I sent the company an email to... We bought the tickets from the airport to the city center and return. In the airport we waited for the bus in a long queue and it arrived 15 minutes late. We had an "open" return so we arrived to the Termini Station an hour before the departure we choosed, in order to validate our tickets without any problem. A... More

You get what you pay for, although interestingly the other buses at the same price seemed much better, Long queue, (in January) no organisation. 2 buses arrived & left empty! You have to nominate time but that is totally disregarded, so much so we did not use our return ticket to the airport for fear of being as if as... More

an absolute joke of a service, there is no organsation. There are people queing to get on the bus from all directions and people just push in past you as there is no structure. I was appauled at their service in london and evenmore so in rome. I point blank now refuse to use this company.

Never have I been to an airport transfer service with such bad organisation. When we got off the plane we bought tickets immediately and had to wait 45 minutes for the bus. the bus was absolutely packed and the timed entry didn't seem to work with people who had a different time ticket getting on before those with the correct... The operation is a complete chaos, they have a terrible system that simply doesn't work. The queue at the airport was a mess and people were screaming at each other. On the way back the same thing was happening at the Termini station, so many people were squeezing in their luggage that we were worried our luggage will fall out... More

Terrible service I will suggest to avoid this company for several reasons. First of all they do not accept online tickets even though you can book and pay online. Secondly the line to get on the bus is extremely long and hectic and you may be turned down even with a reservation. Third since there are several companies that offer... More

Staying in Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Neighborhood Profile
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City
If all roads lead to Rome, then they all end here. Piazza Venezia and the Ancient City are the very epicenter of the Eternal City. Within a 360-degree turn, Roman history unrolls in front of you, from its ancient beginnings to its 21st century transformations. Whether it’s those historical playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this neighborhood packs a cultural punch and then some. Screaming scooters, battling buses, crazy cars, and lots of foot traffic converge in the area all day long. By dusk, a different vibe emerges as the neighborhood quiets down. Don't be surprised if you find yourself passing through the Piazza Venezia at least once a day, since it’s the most direct way to get from one side of town to another.
