We booked a tour on line from the UK and Antony was extremely helpful throughout and even came down to the start of the tour to make sure that we had everything we needed. Our tour guide was Luigi, it was worth going on the tour just to meet him. His knowledge and enthusiasm just swept you along. Definitely recommend... More

WOW, in one simple word. Whether you've been before or it's your first visit to the Vatican, there's only one way to do it and it's with the Vatican Tour Company. Why? Here's why: Top professional administration - I booked this tour in advance from the UK. It was seemless and I had regular contact with the team and a... More

I spent a week in Rome with my wife and son (13 yo). This is the only tour we did while in Rome, and it was worth it. When in Rome the Vatican and St Peter's are a must see. We had a group tour with Victoria for the Vatican Museum, Garden and Sistine Chapel. Our tour of St Peter's... More

When you book with us, we usually always include St Peter's Basilica, even if someone, such as yourselves booked a tour online via our website for Wednesdays; we mustn't forget that is the Papal audience day, by tradition, meaning the Basilica is out of bounds until late lunchtime. So we are happy you appreciated the adjustment for a better experience.... More

My husband and I booked a small group tour with the Vatican Tour Company for February. I organized the tour months before online with Antony and all went smoothly. We were fortunate to be the only ones booked that day, so we had Anna, our tour guide, to ourselves. She was great! Very knowledgeable on Roman history, Vatican history, the... More

Hallo there E, Yes you did organise everything a couple of months before and it can never be said enough that this is the best way to do things. This still the quiet season and of course less people everywhere makes for a better visit all around, especially when you enter 1 hour before the museum opens to the general... More

Antony was excellent in his communications with us during our long weekend break to Rome. We were originally booked to have a tour of the Vatican on Saturday but the cistine chapel was unexpectedly closed so Antony managed to rearrange the tour for us on Monday. The tour was very good and really made our visit to the Vatican extra... More

Thank you both! Yes the Sistine Chapel is also a place of worship, we must remember this, religious services are a priority, even if they very rarely disturb the smooth running of the museum's schedule (9.00am - 18.00pm, with the exception of our early morning tour before the museum opens to the general public...) I am happy it all worked... More

We were very lucky on the day - it was a quiet day to visit the Vatican City and we were first in the Sistine Chapel. It was just the two of us on the tour so it was very personal. Anna our guide was great, very knowledgeable. The meeting point was easy to find. A great experience.

Yes, well you had chosen our VIP Vatican Tour and so by doing this, if you don't mind getting up early as you did :) you get into the Museum before it opens to the general public, Of course, let us put into perspective the fact that you both had the added bonus of visiting at a quiet time of... We had a wonderful 3 plus hour tour of the Vatican. Luigi was incredibly knowledgable, pointing out many things that were not spoken of in guide books. He kept the tour interesting and lively so it never felt as long as it actually was. Would definitely do this tour again. Luigi is the best.

We toured both "Ancient Rome" and the Vatican with a 3 hour break in between. Both Anthony and Michael were great guides with deep knowledge but a great way of making it real and interesting. I would highly recommend the tour if you are a small group and want a personal experience...they had all the details and shared them in... More

Thanks to Antony, we had a wonderful and memorable 3 days in Rome! With limited time, and two teens, we wanted to be sure that we could see the sights with less crowds, but in a fun and flexible schedule! We are not your typical tourists, and usually like to be spontaneous on our trips. So for our family, it... More
