We took the 7:30 am Vatican tour to beat the crowds. Getting there early was the way to go, no crowds in the sistine chapel and beat the rush through the vatican museum. We can't say enough about how fantastic Maria was. She seemed to have never ending knowledge of the Vatican and was a delight to listen to. A++

My wife and I joined Maria on the early morning private tour and it was beyond belief. Skipped all the lines and went, straight to the Sistine Chapel ahead,of all other groups. She had shown us pictures of the frescoes in the Chapel ahead of time so we knew what to look for. That was brilliant. She was knowledgeable regarding history,... More

My wife and I went on a semi-private tour of the Vatican at 730am - bypassing any crowd or line up. Vatican Tours Guide was very professional (Marie) and knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour: art, chapel, sculptures etc. It is somewhat expensive, but an excellent choice for a once in a life time visit. Highly recommend.

We took the 7:30 AM Vatican Tour to beat the crowds and that we did. It was also cooler at that time !. However about an hour into the tour the crowds did catch up with us. This is a 4 hour tour and it is very thorough. Our guide was Carlotta and hopefully you can get her on your... More

I travelled with my 73 year old mother and my sister to Rome in June 2015. We booked a private Vatican Tour with Vatican Tour Company. From the onset, everything was perfect. We received regular emails from Antony about our booking and were offered the services of a pick up from our hotel. On the day of our tour, our... More

Antony was a terrific tour guide. We had never visited Rome before so we had no idea what to expect. The instructions were easy and we found him easily even though there were huge crowds. Our tour was fantastic. Antony whisked is past all the queues "lines" and we water no time getting into the colosseum. We would definitely recommend... More

Organised a tour of the Vatican with Antony one week prior to intended date. Received email confirmation and deposit was paid. Emailed same day asking basic questions (time, meeting point etc) as we were arriving in Rome 2 hours before tour started. No response 2 days later - sent reminder email. Again no response. Emailed again 4 days later to... More

I booked our tour of the Vatican with Antony Stuart. He was not our guide but met us before the tour to say hello and deliver water bottles for us to take on our tour. Eugenia was our guide. She was an art history major from Columbia and her English was great. She had a great sense of humor as... More
