The Twilight Trastevere Tour is not to be missed! Be certain to take this tour in the first days of your trip. You will want to return to the sites you visit.

We did the Testaccio tour last year and decided to try the Twilight tour of Trastevere this trip. And again this was a wonderful tour. We started at one of our favorite places - Da Enzo which our guide last year recommended and they take you to places you would ordinarily just walk by. We are foodies (we did a... More

Highly recommended. Can't stress how much we enjoyed this tour. Having been on a couple of food tours, we were after something authentic and different. This was it! You will enjoy this truly local experience of Roman food in the best part of town. Our tour guide was very informative, friendly and accommodating. The group was small which made crowd... More

What could be better than being guided around a truly "local" neighbourhood by a truly local Roman, tasting some of the best food that Rome has to offer ? After doing extensive research I settled on booking our food tour with "Eating Italy". I was attracted by the smaller groups which they use, and by their wonderful website which has... More

We took the morning tour with Gigi through Testaccio & loved every aspect of it - the food was incredible, we learnt so much about the area/culture and had fun too! Gigi was a fantastic guide & did well looking after such a diverse bunch of folks. Highly recommend for foodies & those who enjoy something different tour-wise.

Rome was one of the ports on our cruise, and since we had already done the touristy things, we decided to do the food tour. We rode the train into Rome, and met our guide, Beau, at the meeting place in the Testaccio neighborhood. When we signed up for the tour, they emailed us very detailed instructions on how to... More

I have taken a number of food tours around the world and Eating Italy does it just right and provided what a foodie like me wants. I did two tours, Taste of Testaccio Food Tour with Bo and the Twilight Trastevere Food Tour with Francesca. I really enjoyed how all the tastings were very fresh (I've never had such fresh... More

I really enjoyed my tour with Eating Italy Tour. The reasons and histories behind the foods, and the great tastes. Our guide GiGi was just terrific, knowledgable and amusing. If I was to state a negative. The walk wasn't through the kind of streets I imagined, not cute and picturesque, but a bit more industrial, which makes perfect sense now.... More

We did the 'Twilight Trastavere Tour' during our trip to Rome in early June this year. It was most definitely the highlight of our time in bella Roma! Our guide, Stefania, was fun and knowledgeable and we had a small group of 10 (mainly Aussies!). Trastavere is an interesting neighbourhood of Rome with very few tourists and Stefania took us... We did the cooking class with nonna and it was really fun! We were 4 friends travelling to Rome. The food was delicious, made from fresh ingredients. We did an eggplant gratin, fresh pasta, meatballs and a delicious chocolate and ricotta pie. After cooking, we went to the dining room to enjoy the meal, served with wine. We were a... More
