We recently did the Testaccio tour with our kids and another family. Delightful experience and highly recommend it to anyone. Our guide Alexandra was very knowledgeable and had a great relationship with everyone at our different stops. It's not a touristy neighbourhood and we wouldn't have visited Testaccio but for this tour. Loved the area too. We had young kinds... More

We booked this tour because we always do a food tour in every country we visited. By far, Eating Italy's Daylight Trastevere Food Tour was our most average experience. I do not recommend this tour if you are already familiar with Italian food because the food they offered in the tour was very basic and already popular in other countries.... More

This was our favourite tour in Rome, awesome food and seeing the locals instead of all the tourists was what I really wanted to experience. It's a leisurely stroll stopping for food treasures from family style businesses. We learned many tips about the best Italian food from our local guide Val. Great value for money, you won't finish feeling hungry.... More

We did a late morning Saturday tour through Testaccio. Our guide Gigi was really friendly and well versed in local history and culture. It was nice to have some background on the places we were visiting. Little things like the story of how Flavio al Velavevodetto got its name is great, but I won't ruin it for those of you... More

My husband and I took the Testaccio food tour, guided by Dominico, and it was, BY FAR, our favorite experience on our honeymoon. The foods (cannoli, bruschette, prosciutto, cheeses, pasta, pizza, gelato, and more!) were beyond compare, and the neighborhood was so friendly. Dominico wins the award for our favorite person we met on our honeymoon. He was knowledgeable, friendly,... More

We did the 4 hour food tour of the Trastevere area of Rome with our fabulous guide Rodger. Discovering the hidden foodie gems of this area was one of the highlights of our week in Rome. We returned the next day to explore the neighbourhood further on our own. Highly recommended but one tip....don't have breakfast before you go!!

We did the Trastevere day tour with Jasmine after arriving at 7am after a very long flight from NZ. We had a fabulous 4 hours with a lovely mixed group of people (you will know who we are!). The food was varied and carefully planned to complement the stops. Jasmine was a lovely guide who patiently answered all of our... More

My wife and I absolutely loved the Testaccio tour. Being foodies ourselves, we thought the choice of providers were spot on! Not only was the food delicious, it also matched the great people who prepared it (obviously with savoir faire). But that is not all. We have to say, the very best of the tour was our guide, Doug. Not... More

We took the Twilight Trastevere Tour with Jonathan on October 15th. The evening was fun. Meeting other tourists from around the world and enjoying many authentic dishes and snacks was a great way to spend an evening. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, humorous and friendly. He clearly knows a lot about Italy and was happy to share his knowledge. Well worth... More

Our tour guide Doug made this tour. He obviously loves Rome/Italy, food and history and this was exemplified in all the information he imparted throughout the tour His engaging manner and style kept me attentive throughout. This is an excellent tour for both learning about the history of Rome and it's food. Four hours of walking through 'working mans' Rome... More
