This was so much fun. Our guide was originally from Boston so she spoke great English but was very informative about the town and food. She gave us great advice and took us to some very cool places. You will be very full by the end of the tour. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Worst experience ever! Many people adviced us to be very careful because their are so many thieves there and we took extreme cautions but no matter how caution you are they still were able to steel our video camera in seconds from a zipped pocket ! They are well trained and when we went to the police he waived his... More

Took the 11a Testaccio tour led by Alexandr(i)a. Guide was friendly, informative, and you could tell truly passionate about Roman food. Go on an empty stomach because even though sample portions aren't meal sized, there are plenty of places (at least six) you'll try and depending on your group, there maybe a lot of leftover pasta you can scarf down... If you're in Rome for three days or more, a visit to Trasvestere is a must and what better way to see Rome's oldest part of town than to eat your way through it! Our tour guide Sara provided a fun history lesson which we found more impressive than the food itself. Still, plenty of good wine and food are... More

This was one of my favorite parts of our whole Europe trip; I wish we had done a food tour in every city we visited. Kate was our tour guide. She was very sweet, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! And she obviously has great taste, because she was involved in choosing the stops and dishes, which were all phenomenal.... More

We participated this tour with high expectations - and were not dissapointed. Jonathan was a perfect guide. He created a relaxed athmosphere, and we got a lot of interesting information - not just about food. The food was delicious and the wines matched perfectly with the foods we tasted. Jewish artichokes were heavenly!

This tour was wonderful thanks to our tour guide Alexandra! What a great young lady she is and so very knowledge about the foods of Italy. We started the tour in Testaccio at a bar (that's what a coffee shop in Italy is called) where we were treated to a typical Italian breakfast of croissant followed by chocolate cup of... More

We enjoyed participating in a daytime food tour of the Trastevere district. Wandering the area and stopping at local food outlets with a small group of likeminded foodie tourists was one of our Rome highlights. We went back to a number of the outlets during the rest of our stay as the food we tasted was so very good. One... More

This tour was a great introduction to Roman cuisine and a wonderful break from the crowds in the more touristy areas of the city. Our guide, Alexandra, was not only knowledgeable about the food but also shared a number of stories about the neighborhood and shops we visited. Most importantly, she schooled us on the secrets of finding good gelato.... More
