My friend and I spent our first morning in Rome at the Testaccio food tour and we enjoyed just about every second of it. Our friendly guide Doug walked us through the best quality foods found in the area, including different cheeses, cured meats, pizza, pasta, gelato and my unsuspecting personal favourite cannoli. He also integrated a history lesson into... More

I had a good time, and out guide Roger was terrific, but the for the price paid, I thought there should have been more meat and seafood. If you want to get a feel for Trastevere it is a good tour, just keep in mind that most of the stuff you are served is probably on the cheaper side of... More

If you consider yourself a foodie, or just love awesome Italian cuisine, Eating Italy food tours are the way to go. We did all three offerings: Cooking with Nonna, Twilight Trastevere and Taste of Testaccio Food Tours. We scheduled all three at the front end of our Rome holiday and it turned out to be great because we went back... More

I don't drink wine. I don't eat cold cheese. I don't like walking (or physical activity of any sort, really). I enjoyed this tour in spite of all that. The food was delicious and interesting; some tastes off the beaten path and some more standard. Our guide (Jasmine?, I'm terrible with names) was very fun and gave a good lowdown... More

This was the first night of our visit to Rome and it was a great introduction to the Italian cuisine and that of Rome in particular. Anna, our guide was very enthusiastic and took us to amazing places in Trastavere which we wood never have found on our own. It was a very memorable evening.

Anna our guide was engaging and peppered the tour w interesting bits of information regarding the trastevere neighbourhood. We were kept well fed and hydrated (w wine) throughout the 3hrs tour. The local shop owners were very welcoming and we enjoyed thr tour very much.

We were a private group of two families (4 adults, 5 kids, 2 babies). Kate gave us a fantistic tour and the kids all say it was the highlight of our trip to Rome.

The morning "eating tour" in Testaccio was terrific. Domenico, our guide, was warmhearted, knowledgeable and passionate. He gave us a lively and detailed introduction to the specific history of the neighborhood, and the tastings were delicious. Every place we went to was local and off the beaten path. Although much of what we tasted was, technically, familiar Italian fare (pizza,... More

We did the Daylight Trastevere Food tour and we were not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious. We tried cheeses, meats, gelato, pasta, wine, tiramisu... So many yummy things! I strongly recommend it.
