We had an excellent tour guide, who really enjoys his work. He had a tablet that he used to supplement his talk, with lots of pictures and history. It was obvious that he knows the subject matter, very well, and enjoys history.

We went on both tours and loved them. Each tour was engaging and highly informative. The first tour we took led us through the colosseum, forum, Capitoline hill, the trevi fountain, and pantheon. We learned so much more than we would have on our own and got a great sense of the historic areas that we then explored further on... More

We had the BEST tour guide ever. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything. He seemed to LOVE history and archeology. His English ability and pronunciation was excellent.

We did Artviva tours in Florence and loved them. I can't say the same for the walking tour in Rome. The tour guide was 20 minutes late with the whole group wondering what was going on. The audio quality on the headsets was not very good. The guide moved quickly and was a bit hard to understand. The tour was... More

My wife and I spent our honeymoon traveling around Italy which included a three night stop in Rome. On the recommendation of another guide in Florence, we booked a walking tour of Rome through Artiviva (and were glad we did!) The walking tour was fantastic and included an in-depth look at the Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona (to... More

My friend and I had a 3 hour walking group tour and it was such a wonderful tour with such insights into the beautiful city. Our guide (forgot her name) was excellent with a great command of English and such a dry wit. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a tour in Florence.

We took the private tour with Artviva for the Vatican. Chris was our guide and what a guide he was! Absolutely fantastic. He was insightful, knew every single detail and a master in the subject. He had a doctorate in Theology so you can understand the absolute mastery and command he had over the subject. We were 6 adults and... More

We really enjoyed both tours. We split the Vatican tour and the Ancient Rome tour into two days. To do both in one day would have been exhausting as there is a lot of walking. Saw two very amazing parts of Rome. Both tour guides were very good!

We used Artiva for walking tours in Rome, Florence, Venice. In general, excellent. We would certainly use them again. Far far better than the one non-Artviva tour we were forced to use. Rome: walking tour with Cindy: this is a long and slightly rushed trek, from the Coliseum past (but not into) the Forum, up to the sites around the... More
