Had a wonderful time on the Rome night bike tour last night, with Victor as our guide. Possibly because it was a Monday night, it was just the two of us and our guide, which was surprising, as this is easily the best way to see some of the main sites of Rome, as well as a few places off... More

Best way to see Rome, especially if you're only there for one or two days and if you want to catch some of the tourist sites and then also get a local feel! Awesome guide, always up for answering questions. Thanks glen :)

Had much fun touring the Roman Aqueducts. This is a 4 hours tour on bicycle and is fun but you have to be in reasonably good shape.

We had a fantastic 4 hr tour. We were just on a stop over from Edinburgh back to our home in Toronto. We had a limited amount of time in Rome and decided to spend it on a bike tour. The red bicycle touring organization was very accommodating. We needed to start 1 hour early to ensure that we would... More

My partner and I had 1 day in Rome before we boarded a cruise heading to Greece. We wanted to see as much of Rome as possible but didn't want to do a big bus tour that can't get to many of the best places in a city like Rome that has many pedestrian areas and small cobblestone streets, alleyways,... We had a wonderful bike tour with Musa through the Appian way and the Aqueduct park. Despite 94 degree heat and some of our group with less endurance, we made it through (with the help of a Metro on the way back). Musa was very helpful and informative. Great experience.

Our guide accommodated all the riders in our group in a very professional manner. He carried a book that helped riders of all ages understand the history of Rome. I have recommended this to friends. Great ride, thanks!

Despite arriving slightly late meaning that the tour had already left, the owner was very accommodating and took us on a separate tour. It was a brilliant tour, the bikes were excellent. We saw parts of Rome that we'd not have seen were it not for the tour. An added bonus was stopping off at Freni E Frizioni which served... More

This was a really great tour and a great value for the money. The location was great and easy to find. Musa was a great tour guide and the tour felt a lot more personalized than some of the other bike tours we saw around. It was just my fiancee and I and another family. The Appian way, Catacombs and... More

We did the Via Appia Antika Tour in July starting at 9 am. Although its was around 38 degrees we enjoyed it a lot. The Catacombes San Calisto were cool with around 16 degrees. The mouton bikes were in a very good condition. We were amazed to see nature only 5 minutes cycling from the city centre. When I asked... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
