We had high hopes for this tour, and it was a wonderful way to travel through the streets of Rome first thing in the morning (wish it had started even earlier so that more of the ride was during minimal street activity). We chose Sunday and ended up in the Vatican square as part of the Pope's blessing. That was... More

THanks for being so kind as to describe your experience without feeling the need to nail us for our inadequate preparation for what is still to date our biggest group. Yes, I was totally overwhelmed by the size of the group and yes, even though I attempted to provide as much info as possible it just became to much for... More

I had a specialised tour with Leonardo. We covered "The Greatest Hits" and WW2 and Mussolini 's Rome. Leonardo was an engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable guide. But the most enjoyable aspect of the tour was hearing about his Rome; Born and bred a stones throw from St Peter's Basilica his stories about growing up in Rome give a richness that... More

I took 2 tours, a full day tour and a night tour. Both where really good and value for money. The tour guides were really good, very friendly and inviting. They were very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys cycling, and would love to see a different view of a great city.

I decided to allocate our 3 bike rides with 2 different companies. We did 2 with this company and both were good decisions. i was attracted to this company as they said - bike riders first, tour guides second. to me this was a great selling point. i can't stand those bike tours that cater for people than cannot even... The team were really accommodating; scheduling us late in the day after a previous company had cancelled. We did the ancient sites tour; a leisurely 3 hour cycle around the major sites. The bikes were of fantastic quality and in great condition. Our guide, Leonardo, was friendly, good fun and had some nice little stories that we hadn't heard other... More

We did 2 tours with Red Bicycle. The afternoon tour, which was great to see all the major sites in Rome. This saved us from walking and allowed us to go back to the places we wanted to see and disregard the rest. It is easy to get lost in Rome as a tourist. The streets are hard to find!... More

We did an afternoon tour of the City with Piero. It was meant to be three hours but it was a little longer, excellent value for money! A great way to get an overview of the city and learn about things we never would have noticed otherwise. Would definitely do again.

We had our bike ride today along the Appian Way and our guide's name was Musa It was such a great ride, getting out of the hussle & bussle of the city streets into the country was great. Not only the ride and the views but the history that came with it. Going into the Catacombes the brilliant history of... More

A wonderful way to explore the city! We booked the four hour tour with our teenage daughters and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Leonardo, was a knowledgable and good humoured shepherd, keeping our group together and navigating the city traffic with ease. It was a wonderful way to link parts of the city together and to have access to... More

After a week of walking around Rome we were keen to escape the traffic & see some countryside. This trip was perfect and we were soon heading down quiet lanes past the catacombs and aqueducts and enjoying a very different side of Rome. Our guide Victor was full of energy & enthusiasm & made sure we were safe when cycling... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
