I found Rome Driving Tours from here on TripAdvisor and on Cruise Critic. We were 2 families of 3 stopping in Rome and Pisa/Florence on a 14 day Mediterranean. We had been to Rome before, spending 3 days there before our last Mediterranean cruise 6 years ago...so we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to see. First... More

I found out about Rome Driving Tours from trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The one thing my kids asked to see in Rome was Pompeii. Which isn't really in Rome. In looking into how to get a family of 5 to Pompeii, it seemed like a good deal to use Rome Driving Tours. When I made the reservation,... More

We traveled from the US to Rome and had one week to visit Italy, including Rome, Florence, and stops in between, ending in Venice for a back to back cruise. We found RDT online and contacted Elena which was a terrific experience. We were uncertain and changed our minds about places to visit but she was very accomodating and great... More

The 2 tours we took of Rome were very convenient. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel and the driving tour made seeing Rome doable for our 3 small children. We all enjoyed the beautiful city and the knowledgable guides made an otherwise overwhelming experience fun and accessible.

My wife & I & our 2 children wanted THE BEST experience of Italy that our time & money allowed. We were on a 12-Day Norwegian Med Cruise & we wanted the best, most customized day in Pisa/Florence possible. Our private driver "Mauro" was waiting for us at the port of Livorno, as we exited our cruise ship, & within... More

Our grown family of six were on a Mediterrean cruise July 2014. While in the cruise ports of Rome (Civitavecchia) and Naples I booked private excursions with Rome Driving Tours. I researched many tour companies and decided to go with Rome Driving Tours for the ease of communication, their price was reasonable and they picked you up at the ship.... More

Our cruise ship stopped in Civitavecchia for a day. We were traveling with a multigenerational group ranging in age from 6 to 75. For this reason, we opted not to take the cruise ship’s tour of Rome. We thought the private tour would give us more flexibility if the kids got antsy or the seniors needed to slow down. We... More

The service was excellent. Driver was waiting for us and the drive to Rome was quick and comfortable. Maurizio drove us all around Rome & the Vatican & packed a lot into the day and thoroughly enjoyed it!

We were a group of 7 adults and we had 2 fabulous days with Paolo. We scheduled an all day tour of Rome and on another day, we went to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. On both days, the tours were flexible and we were able to make changes as needed. We were in Italy for 14 days and our tours... More
