St. Paul Outside the Walls was simply to be one of the stops on a bus tour of Rome. Yet, it became one of my favorite stops as we moved from the magnificent outside to the church itself and out to the cloister. For people of the Christian faith it is an emotionally moving holy site as the burial place... more

I really enjoyed my visit to San Paul Basilica. There were hardly any people here compared to the other places we visited and this is the first thing you notice. It was so nice and peaceful. It was nice to see the services going on, a priest taking confessions and we sat on the pews and looked at it with... more

I visited this place in the month of July and it was not as crowded as the other places. I thought it was rather peaceful compared to the rest of Rome during tourist season. The alabaster windows are amazing! I could've stared at all day. more
