We wouldn't have gone here unless someone had recommended it in an off-chance discussion but we're really glad we did. For 5 euros (each) you can visit the excavations underneath the present Church - it is like going back in history the further down you go. Very interesting.

This little church is deceiving from the outside, step inside and venutre down into the pagan temple and apartments hidden beneath the layers. I thought it was fascinating and well worth a visit.
