We wanted to see some of the more outlying churches in Rome, other than St. Peter's, Gesu, etc., and this church fit the bill perfectly. Huge, great chapels, and an amazing colection of ceramic art. Well worth the hike up the hill t see it.
An amazing find! Stunning mosaics and absolutely brilliant archaeology. Not particularly easy to find but well worth searching it out.

The church itself is lovely but in effect is just one of many in Rome however if...

We were told about the Basilica di San Clemente through other tourist we met during a tour around the Colosseum. It was an unexpected stop, but totally worth it!
