I entered this amazing place with no map, unaware even whose house or palace I was in, and was immediately swept into a deep and resonating historical experience. Although it was spectacular for me stumbling upon the hippodrome, the peltate courtyard, the rooms with roofs, etc., unawares, I do recommend a map be taken--I missed the octagonal garden feature, for... more
