This cafe is among the most ancient in Rome, and the possible closure has raised a lot of protests. We might have missed some special atmosphere, but really - the premises, although charming, did not defend a price of more than 7 euros for two cups of coffee. I know that a coffee "al banco"is much cheaper, but we wanted... More

The residents of Rome love this place, probably the know better! the place is beautiful and crowded, the coffees are tasty with some unusual flavors included, the prices are a little expensive and the conclusion is (in my opinion) that this caffe need to take attention from all that visitors wish to feel... real Romans for a while!

Lovely place for people watching outside in the shade whilst drinking pre-lunch aperativi. Dreadful shame they are under threat of eviction to be turned into a hotel, after they've been here all these years.

Four euros for a capuccino when the average price in Rome is 1 Euro! I call this place a tourist trap with awful service as a bonus! When I went to the cash to pay and I questioned the price, thinking there may have been an error, I was told that yes, it was indeed 4 euros! The girl did... More

Nice place in the centre of Rome, but very high prices. Almost 5 euro for a tea. The service was not kind too. I've seen better places.

Don't expect a clean toilet, but other than that expect everything you need to have drinks inside or outside and have fun with friends. Great place to hang out. A pity it closes by 2am.

Inside is a classic, wood paneled old bar -- really lovely. Outside is great people-watching and relaxing on a classic cobblestone street with vine-draped buildings. Perfect for a coffee or a cocktail. In high season you may have to wait for a table, as well as for service.

Very near to the famous but crowdy Piazza Navona you find Caffe della Pace. We had a aperitif there. The drinks came together with very tasteful snacks. It was very nice to sit on the terrace in this quiet environment.

Expensive, personel is arrogant and rude. For the prices they ask you may expect more service and friendly personel. The place is nice, that's i guess the reason why they are so arrogant, the guests may come anyway.
