This fountain is as lovely as its pictures but extremely crowded and rather noisy. As always, pay attention to who is around you. We had no difficulties, but are also very city savey. You will be approached by roaming photographers and I saw many people using them but cannot verify the quality of their work. Be sure to throw a... More

The trevi fountain is very, very pretty but the area is over-crowded with visitors. If you want to be alone go early morning ,but you will miss the lights of the evening. The fountain is aesthetically constructed but I didn't get any place to sit and admire the finer points of art. In fact I was very self conscious throwing a... More

A brilliant fountain, intricate and ornate. You can spend 20 minutes looking at it, easily. We found a little restaurant nearby and had a great evening meal. If you can try and see Trevi by night. It is very atmospheric. More

Just take a look of people there as well. How they experience the fountain. How they get neurotic about the right way of throwing the coins to... More

A must visit when in Rome and we visited in daylight and at night. We thought the night visit was better as it is well lit and looked fantastic with slightly less people blocking your view. More

I forget between visits just how wonderful this creation is. It's almost fairytale in it's splendour. I threw my cents in as I hope to come back time after time. More
