A beautiful fountain but overcrowded by tourists. People sit on an In the fountain would be better if tourist were kept slightly back from the actual monument.

The architecture of the whole piazza and fontana are amazing, even though I'd made numerous visits whilst living in Rome over 20 years ago. The number of visitors has increased ten-fold though.

Best to go after 10 PM. Crowds were too large during the day. Typical tourist "must". Just watch out for pickpockets. They are all over, especially the train station.

A great fountain and very beautiful. However it was really crowded. It was impossible to stay and enjoy this master art piece with all the people and random sellers of whatever! Anyway if you go to Rome is a place you should not miss.

The Trevi Fountain is one of the few things that you will look at and realize where you really are. You're in the middle of the Eternal City, in front of one of the most famous, beautiful structures in the world. This is where it hit me. Go during the day and at night because it's a completely different vibe.... More

Lovely to see the Trevi fountain, it was bigger than I imagined and very crowded, but it really is a "must do"!

Gorgeous; can get really crowded; go early. Throw a coin into the fountain (right hand over left shoulder) to wish to come back to Rome.

a great place to visit and enjoy the lovely marble. don't stick your feet in the fountain as the 'ugly amercian' as i did! got yelled at and even a cop shooed me out. anyway, lovely, refreshing and the lore of the good fortune makes this a roman must see. ps-several decent gelaterias in the area. pricey but delish!

My favorite place in Rome - the beauty of it strikes you when you see it first and you fall in love. The piazza has this lovely peaceful and at the same time, energetic atmosphere, with all the people gathering there to see the water that calms you down. You can get a bite to eat and then get some... More
