Description: Here at Rome by Segway, we are passionate about Segways and travel. Easy...
Here at Rome by Segway, we are passionate about Segways and travel. Easy, intuitive and fun to use, they are great for all ages and types of travellers. Riding a Segway is a great time in and of itself, but when you combine a Segway with a stunningly beautiful city like Rome - it's a perfect match. With a Segway you'll cover more ground then you ever could on foot. Even after three hours of sightseeing, your feet won't ache. When visitors arrive in Rome they are often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things there are to see. It feels impossible to 'see it all' - but with our Segway tours, we come pretty close! We are dedicated to ensuring every traveller that books a Segway tour with us has an enjoyable experience. We have a brand new, beautiful office located just around the block from the Colosseum. Our bathroom, water cooler, coffee machine, couches and free Wifi are at the disposition of our guests. All of our itineraries are personally crafted by our staff, and feature an exciting mix of the famous sights Rome is known for and favorite 'local' spots. We are proud to rank in the top tier of Rome Activities on Trip Advisor, with hundreds of five star reviews. When we look to the future of travel, the environment is important to us. Rome by Segway is proud to use zero-emission Segways, which are completely electric and incredibly efficient. Not only are they a much greener choice than your usual bus tour, Segways allow you to get up close to the city you are experiencing instead of just driving by. For all of these reasons and more, we are proud to offer the best Segway tours in town. We look forward to having you join us in Rome!

Amazing way to travel. Brilliant afternoon Tour. Good training for beginners. Visited some places we wouldn't have otherwise known about. Lovely Mexican lady tour guide who spoke very good English and was very careful to make sure we were safe in the more built up areas.

It is the best way to get a first overview about this giant open-air museum. The guides were entertaining and informative. Segway training is thorough but doesn't take too long as riding these things is easy as 1-2-3. We will go Segway on our next tours again. By the way, we took the 6.5h tour which requires some stamina. Remember... More

We had a Segway tour lined up for one our days in Rome. I have to admit, as a 45 year old soccer mom, I was apprehensive. After a short training period, I felt like an expert. What a wonderful way to explore Rome!!! Our guide took us to some out-of-way areas we would never have found on our own.... More

The segway tour was a fantastic way to commence our first trip to Rome as it let us take in all the key historical sights in a short time as well as conserving our energy to go back and look at the sights at another time on our trip. The tour guide Roberto was excellent and gave us a great... More

Thank you for your review. Indeed many people think that most segway riders are young people, even if the average age of our guests is closer to the mid fourties. So if you do not want to take exhausting walks through the city, just book a segway tour with us. Best regards, Marcello More

Fantastic tour guide, 3.5 hours around Rome to sites we wouldn't have seen or found otherwise. Nice little touch to give us iPods with videos at certain parts of the city. This tour was the best part of our visit to Rome and is definitely worth doing.

Thank you for your review. Rome is a very hilly area so a Segway tour can be a great solution if you do not want or feel like walking all the way. :) Kind regards, Marcello More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
