Description: Here at Rome by Segway, we are passionate about Segways and travel. Easy...
Here at Rome by Segway, we are passionate about Segways and travel. Easy, intuitive and fun to use, they are great for all ages and types of travellers. Riding a Segway is a great time in and of itself, but when you combine a Segway with a stunningly beautiful city like Rome - it's a perfect match. With a Segway you'll cover more ground then you ever could on foot. Even after three hours of sightseeing, your feet won't ache. When visitors arrive in Rome they are often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things there are to see. It feels impossible to 'see it all' - but with our Segway tours, we come pretty close! We are dedicated to ensuring every traveller that books a Segway tour with us has an enjoyable experience. We have a brand new, beautiful office located just around the block from the Colosseum. Our bathroom, water cooler, coffee machine, couches and free Wifi are at the disposition of our guests. All of our itineraries are personally crafted by our staff, and feature an exciting mix of the famous sights Rome is known for and favorite 'local' spots. We are proud to rank in the top tier of Rome Activities on Trip Advisor, with hundreds of five star reviews. When we look to the future of travel, the environment is important to us. Rome by Segway is proud to use zero-emission Segways, which are completely electric and incredibly efficient. Not only are they a much greener choice than your usual bus tour, Segways allow you to get up close to the city you are experiencing instead of just driving by. For all of these reasons and more, we are proud to offer the best Segway tours in town. We look forward to having you join us in Rome!

This was an AWESOME way to spend an entire day. There were no quirks with the machines and the tour guides were delightful and humerous. The Segways were so easy to learn... and I can hardly ride a bike, so consider the source. We enjoyed seeing so much of Rome with so little effort. The audio tours at each site... More

Great experience. 3 hours tour very profitable to see many Rome attraccions in just one day. Thanks to the tour guide Gianluca for his explanations and entertaining. With the summer temperatures is the best way to enjoy Rome. We really recomend this tour, specially if you have no much time.

I was not initially excited about this but after reading all the positive reviews I realized it was going to be lots of fun and it WAS! I had never been on a Segway before and it took me about 20 seconds to figure it out. Believe me and the other reviewers - it's eeeeeeeasy. We did Rome by Night... More

We went to various sights and traveled safely from place to place. We went to the Pantheon, and 2 other basilicas that I would not have seen on my own. Had a really great group!

Was a blast. Would recommend seeing every city this way now. Just be careful your first time around and learn the ropes.

We were given this as a gift for our trip in Rome and really enjoyed it. You get used to riding Segway very quickly and once you get the confidence it is so easy! Our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and very informative about the sites we visited. They also picked mostly quiet roads, only had to cross busy... More

The way to see Rome, tour started with a bit of tuition on how to use the Segway then straight onto the tour. Really good guide took us to some really cool off the beaten track places. Plenty of stops to take photos, grab a drink etc. First time my wife and I had used a Segway, really easy when... More

A fantastic way to see Rome. Tour was interesting, lots of information via headphones and great use of DVD to show inside of buildings. We were totally safe. Earlier that day we did a bus tour and I confess wanted to leave Rome after that, but the Seway tour helped us to fall in love with this beautiful city.

This was our fourth Segway tour, but we were slightly apprehensive about going on one in Rome because of the crazy drivers. However, our guide Claudio was brilliant, very safety conscious and ensured that we were able to cross busy roads safely. Most of the tour was conducted via back streets, giving us a tour that most visitors would not... More

We did a three-hour ancient Rome segway tour. The guide was really nice and knows lots of stories of Rome. It was really a nice experience.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
