Three generations of women visited Rome over the Christmas Season 2014. We took four "Walks of Italy" tours while we were there. We had four different tour guides and all were wonderful and gave us an incredible experience. I would highly recommend "Walks of Italy". They keep the groups small which really enhanced our experience. You don't feel like you... More

The tour gave access to every section of the Coliseum including roped off underground & upper levels. Spend plenty of time in the ancient ruins outside the Coliseum (Arch Titus, etc..) Tour guide Vincenza was knowledgeable and spoke for over 3 hours. Definitely gave us our money's worth and was whisked through every entrance while others waited on line. Five... More

We had a fantastic time with our guide, Amy. The pace was perfect, light hearted and very informative. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour. On our own we would have spent hours looking for the sites and would have found them difficult to interpret. It was very good value.

This was my second time visiting the Sistine Chapel. The first time was with my school group a life time ago. Who wouldn't be amazed by the Sistine Chapel? But that experience was marred by the massive crowd and the heat! This time around with Walks of Italy, it was worth every penny (or Euro). Being able to sit down... More

We just got back from our amazing VIP colosseum tour with Fernando. What a tour! Well worth the price. Fernando has his PhD in archeology and he did not disappoint. Lots of information and he was able to answer all of our questions, he also super friendly and easy to understand in English. We both agreed that his tour was... More

We have taken 4 tours with Walks of Italy and have never been dissapointed. The Underground Tour of the Colisseum and the Pristine Sistine (a must since you can see the Sistine prior to the absolutely crushing crowds later in the day) are incredible and we loved the small tour group size. Our family of 4 also took a private... More

Dear MissinPitts, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us! We cannot express how happy it makes us to know you had such a great time on all 4 tours, including your private service with Camilla. She is indeed both very knoweldgeable and charming, and we feel extremely fortunate to have her on our team.... More

Tour started at the roman forum, you definitely need a guide to understand and explore the ruins. After that we headed to the colosseum centre - an area which no one else has acces to!! We also went underneath the colosseum as well as to the highest level which again is not accessible to the general tourists. Our guide, Maria,... More

My wife and I aren't typically the type to go on a guided tour but we are glad we did. Very friendly, professional and organized. The tour got us into parts of the Colosseum we normally would not get to see, and helped us avoid the lineups and crowds. Definitely the best way to experience it. The guide was great... More

We first booked and took the The Pristine Sistine™: The Chapel At Its Best. Tiberio was our guide for this tour and he far exceeded everything we had hoped. Tiberio was friendly, down to earth and obviously very intelligent. He pointed things out that only someone with a passion for what they do and of their home could possess. We... More

Amazing! We were so lucky that there was just 4 in our tour. Our guide Katia was fantastic, extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend doing the VIP tour, we were the only people on the stage area which was fantastic and it was great to see the parts of the colosseum that no one else did. I felt... More
