My family (wife + daughters age 16 and 18) just finished a "Walks of Italy" tour of the Colosseum and surrounding Forum. Our tour guide, Jon was fantastic who really enjoyed his job and it showed by the way he talked to everyone and how he explained all of the ancient sites. Jon was very knowledgeable about everything he talked... More

We took two tours with Walks of Italy. I was a bit concerned because they are located in Austin TX - what can they know about Italy? But Peter met us in Rome and we began a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto - about half an hour, with a narrative about how it was formed. Then we met the... More

We did the welcome to Rome tour as soon as we arrived in Rome. I urge you to do the same. The guide was exceptional, she didn't use a book once and knew something about everything we saw and answered all questions effortlessly. She spoke immaculate English and was such a lovely guide. Doing this tour gives you an understanding... More

It was a great tour to see and learn a lot in one day! My son had taken this tour a few weeks prior to us and highly recommended it as a college student, and we were happy that we took his advice. Our two tour guides, Cecilia and Camilla, were awesome! They were pleasant, organized, and thorough! We traveled... More

Highly recommend taking a tour with Walks of Italy. We did the Vatican and Sistine chapel and the forum, colosseum and palatine hill. Both tours were excellent. The guides know everything and make you appreciate what you are looking at so much more than with a guidebook alone. They pointed out interesting detAils, provided memorable stories as well as helping... More

My husband and I booked three different activities with Walks of Italy for our honeymoon, Pristine Sistine, Pasta Making Class and Caesar's Palace Tour with Colosseum & Roman Forum. We are so glad we booked with Walks of Italy. These people made our honeymoon more special than we could have imagined. We are planning a trip back next year as... More

Outstanding tour, filling in the blanks on the Vatican and St Peters. Our tour met promptly at appointed time and directions to meeting place were perfect. Note: you can get quick snack/breakfast at cafe. Our PhD guide was informative and provided wonderful details and background on the Vatican art, architecture, and gardens. Group had 15 people and we got in... More

Basically first part of the trip went nice, thanks to friendly guide, but second part was total disaster, didn't understand a word what guide was saying, had to leave a group almost at the beginning of part 2. Definitely doesn't worth 250€ I payed.

We visited Rome last week and took the "Pristine Sistine" tour on August 11, 2015. Our guide was Toni and she was absolutely amazing!!! Toni's knowledge of the Vatican was incredible from the simplest, lets take the elevator, to lets start in the Sistine Chapel before anyone gets there. There is so much to see Toni gave us all the highlights...
