We had a limited time in Rome so opted for 2 tours with Walks of Italy which included the early morning Vatican Tour and the Evening Colosseum Tour. First I am glad we did the early Vatican Tour because by the time we finished the place was packed. It was worth the money to get in before the major crowds... More

A huge shout-out to Charles David who was our awesome tour guide. He did a great job inviting us into conversation about the art we saw, rather than speaking down to us as the expert. He certainly taught us a lot, but at the same time empowered us to trust ourselves in the appreciation of the art. Would highly recommend... More

We did the pristine sistine. It was worth it to skip the long line at the vatican and to enjoy the sistine chapel without being so crowded. Our guide was so very nice and knowledgable but talked quite fast and I could barely understand what he was saying. Head sets got quite staticy near the end as well. All in... More

We signed up for a Walks of Italy tour-Sistine Chapel and Vatican and were very happy with it. We thought the price was a little high but was happy that we learned so much more than we could have doing the tour on our own, Cecilia was our guide. She brought a color photo of the paintings in the Chapel... More

Our guide, Tongi was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. We had a blast on our tour, and his humor is just what we needed on a hot July day in Rome. We took the VIP Underground Colosseum Tour, which included the Forum and Palatine Hill. The best views of the Colosseum are from the third floor, which you get to access... More

We booked two tours in Rome: VIP Vatican/Sistene Chapel and Colosseum dungeon/third tier. Both lived up to expectations and also held attention of our teens. Giovanni was our Colosseum guide and clearly had an education and knowledge of the Roman history. We thought visiting the dungeon and third tier gave us a better perspective especially as it was my husband... More

We did four tours with Walks of Italy - 3 in Rome and 1 in Pompeii. Our favorite was the full-day private tour of Pompeii & Vesuvius. Good tour in the AM of Pompeii, our guide skillfully guided us around the enormous cruise ship tours and did an excellent job bringing the city alive. The hike up and around the... More

My 18 yr old daughter and I did 5 Walks of Italy tours over 2 weeks in July. In Rome, we did the Borghese Gallery and the Complete Vatican Tour. Both of the tours were excellent. The guides were both exceptional, and both tours were an excellent value, plenty of information but without boring an 18 yr old. I wish... More

A tour from Walks of Italy is the only way to see sights like the Sistine chapel. We were allowed access to the Sistine chapel an hour earlier than the general public and so had about 20 minutes to relax and take it all in. We passed through a second time during the tour and it was packed to capacity,... More
