This trip was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We had been down in Amalfi, and were finishing up with a few days in Rome. I looked into day trips to Tuscany and liked the places Walks of Italy visited. We had a small group, 6 of us, and our guide Marta and a driver. Marta was a great... More

My husband and I booked the Eternity in a Day Tour, which covered The Colosseum & highlights in the morning, then the Vatican in the afternoon. You should absolutely do this tour. We skipped the crowds, we had a small group, and our guides were very knowledgeable. Ferdinando was our guide for the morning portion of the tour. Did I... More

Walks of Italy's "Pristine Sistine" is the ONLY way to see the Vatican and Sistine Chapel! There's so much to see at St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum, you could easily spend hours (and DAYS) wandering around. The "Walks of Italy" tours are an INCREDIBLE way to catch the "highlights" (the well renowned pieces and artists) and get great insight... More

Took three tours – all highly recommended, and “must-do” in my opinion! We never would have had the appreciation of what we were seeing at these sites, nor the patience to wait in lines – which we skipped! Particularly important for the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, which get extremely crowded. (1) Morning Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Forum tour with Luigi (a charismatic, impressive... More

This is a must do in Rome! We had a wonderful tour with a guide who was extremely knowledgeable and kept a wonderful pace. We covered a lot of ground. We were surprised because we didn't know from the description that we would first tour the Forum--but it was a pleasant surprise. When you finally get to the colosseum, the... More

You have to get up a little early to make sure you start the 'Pristine Sistine' tour on time, but it is worth it. You are not the only tour group in the place but once the doors are open for general admission and the corridors really start to fill you can see the benefit of starting out a bit... More

Our family of 9 was extremely pleased with our Walks of Italy tour with Jowita on June 26th. Jowita was very knowledgeable of the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museum, and the Basilica. We appreciated her timeliness at the meeting point and her patience with our 3 children. We would highly recommend the Walks of Italy tour company to anyone traveling... More

We took the Welcome to Rome Twilight Tour with gelato. It was a great tour. The small group was perfect and the guide was very knowledgeable. He also had great tips for our time in Rome. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and I took the PM 3 hour colosseum tour with Jonathan "Jon" a few days ago and were blown away with his knowledge. He answered every question that we or anyone else had with ease and was an excellent speaker. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. We learned so much about the colosseum and roman forum... In early July, my family and I went on two tours with Walks of Italy that allowed us to maximize our short time in Rome. We enjoyed the small group dynamics (of no more than a dozen people); led by top-notch guides with prolific knowledge of their subject tours. For the Crypts, Bones & Catacombs tour, Amy was a high-octane... More
