This tour was really convenient and saved a lot of walking to see a number of major attractions including but not limited to the colosseum and the Vatican. Some buses could do with a bit of an upgrade because not all of the headphone sockets worked which meant you missed out on listening to some of the tour guides information

All italian cities have ZTL restrictions, and therefore visitors cars are not allowed. Even otherwise it is not advisable to get in city traffic. We therefore took the city tour which has the maximum buses and are frequent. But it was extremely hot, and we got baked in the scorching Sun. The lines at most attractions were serpentine, and we... Used this bus with my daughters this week (16 & 9). Good value, lots of sites to stop at buses every 10 mins. ..IF YOU KNOW WHERE THE STOPS ARE! Spent SO long getting on (while baking in the heat). Could be doing with quicker system to get people on! Don't sit down stairs as you will be cooked alive!!... More

We booked this online in the UK. The only problem we found is that there weren't many buses or stops. In the morning, we had to wait quite a while at the main station so by the time we got to the Colosseum, it was already 10 a.m. Other tour buses seemed to be more frequent at the stops (the... More

We have used this tour company in many cities but Rome was disappointing. It only had about 8 stops and very few were close to what we wanted to see. It is time this company realized that we catch the bus to see the sights. They need to clean the windows and remove the stickers that they have on the... More

We have used the same company in other European cities and have always enjoyed the experience. We typically find it a great way to familiarize ourselves when we first arrive. Unfortunately, we found our experience in Rome quite disappointing. Very long waits, relentless and aggressive hawkers, waiting on the bus for the tour to start for a very long time... More

The service is average, expensive and buses do not have sun roof to protect people in the high temperatures and intense sun of June. I noticed that Green Line buses were newer and most important, all had this shade for passengers.

It cos us £32 for three days ticket for the hop on hop off tour. busses come every 10 mins and take you around all the attractions of the city. Well worth it for us as I love walking but it was 32 degrees! A fab easy way to get around and avoid getting lost- you can still wander like... More

We bought a 2 day ticket and went round at least 3 times, hopping on and off. Progress around the city was slow with the van see much more from the top deck

After a month travelling and enjoying many hop on hop off bus tours,I believe this tour is an absolute scam and the staff of this company couldn't care less about tourists having an enjoyable experience . I suggest the company review their statement of regular bus arrivals every ten minutes as waiting an hour in the heat while other tour... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
