Took the open bus tour, hop on, hop off. Well worth the money (we did 48 hours) and was great to get around. We walked lots. It it was great to get to other sides of the City. Very busy but managed to get seats every time. If not just wait for the next bus. Nice to sit on the... More

I bought a 24 hours ticket for city sightseeing Rome last weekend. The tour is nice but very expensive compare the service they give. The trip is short, not organized, the stops sometime very long waiting under the sun. During our trip we had to stop two times to get out the bus and change it without no reason, they... More

This service was suitable to gain a good grounding and overview of Rome. We had to queue initially at our starting point - at the Termini station. It was a fairly slow service and then once aboard you tended to be rushed around Rome. It transported us around near to the main tourist sites and our advice would be to... More

We purchased tickets from our hotel for the bus, the Colliseum and the Vatican. They advertised a 48 hour tour on the web, including the two attraction tickets, however, they convinced our hotel concierge to have us buy the attraction tickets and only a 24 hours pass (22 Euros) and we were told to  upgrade to a 48 hour pass... We've travelled to other cities and used this company's service with far better results. The information on the prerecorded tour was very light, often with long periods where the bus passed beautiful ruins without any information given, just the same 4 songs playing over and over. The staff were completely disinterested, often taking long breaks at stops upwards of 15-20... More

We were a group of 5 adults and 1 child and we paid 100 euro for 1 day hop on hop off. It was much too expensive for the experience they offer. They say the buses are every 10 min, but this is not true. Also, they are almost always full and we had to wait for the second or... More

This is the most information-light tour I have been on anywhere in the world. It almost seems the operators don't want you to know about Rome. Ratios: Music:6; Silence:3; Information:1 Try another company, a more specialized one may be better. If, however, you are happy to pay steep prices for transport that will get you (fairly) close to some of... More

We brought prepaid tickets from hotel. Very expensive! Took ages to find bus stop as no signs and then had to wait half hour for bus. Staff on bus seemed bored and uninterested. Not enough room either. Not worth the money! Going to other towns in Italy so may use other bus tour companies.

Before we went to Rome, I read up on some blogs and reviews, and even though some said they had been pleased with the hop on, hop off service, I was glad we didn't for several reasons. One, we weren't dictated to by a bus service route, two, we saw lots of things we probably wouldn't have if we had... More

I have done City Sightseeing tours before in Singapore, Sydney and London so know how good these tours can be so when we booked the one in Rome I was really looking forward to it, we'd already been in Rome for two days so had seen most of the sights but I was interested to know what could be pointed...
