Took the HOHO coz we're traveling with a toddler, it was a convenient way to see all the tourist attraction in Rome without having to walk everywhere. Staff hardly speaks English so it was a bit of a hassle communicating. If you can walk for miles then I suggest skipping the bus tour.

As many others on this have also noted, I have also used this company in other cities around the world. The Rome service is by far the worst and most disappointing I have been on. We purchased the 72 hour ticket for €32 each, which I would admit is good value. The bus itself is a useful way to get... More

I purchased rather expensive day tickets for this bus tour in September 2014. Having waited 20 minutes (the buses are meant to come every 10mins although appreciate that city traffic can cause unexpected delays so this wasn't a huge problem), the next bus arrived and a queue formed. The staff then proceeded to let a few people onto the bus... More

If you are staying near the Termini, the bus stop for City Sightseeing is just up the street near Termini, very handy. Be prepared to be constantly harassed by people selling water hats and broliies, at first you just say no but can easily get sick and tired of it. i even got asked to buy water and a hat... More

After using the Pisa, Florence and Rome services over the course of a few weeks in August it was clear to see that the Rome tour was far inferior. We expected it to be more expensive than the others and were happy to pay extra after our great experiences of the tour group in the other two places. However, I... More

We have happily used this tour bus all over Europe and always found it enjoyable until we got to Rome that is. It is advertised as every 10 minutes but our average wait was 30 minutes. There was clearly not enough buses on the route and when it did arrive there was always a mad dash to make it on... More

Took the open bus tour, hop on, hop off. Well worth the money (we did 48 hours) and was great to get around. We walked lots. It it was great to get to other sides of the City. Very busy but managed to get seats every time. If not just wait for the next bus. Nice to sit on the... More

I bought a 24 hours ticket for city sightseeing Rome last weekend. The tour is nice but very expensive compare the service they give. The trip is short, not organized, the stops sometime very long waiting under the sun. During our trip we had to stop two times to get out the bus and change it without no reason, they... More

This service was suitable to gain a good grounding and overview of Rome. We had to queue initially at our starting point - at the Termini station. It was a fairly slow service and then once aboard you tended to be rushed around Rome. It transported us around near to the main tourist sites and our advice would be to... More

We purchased tickets from our hotel for the bus, the Colliseum and the Vatican. They advertised a 48 hour tour on the web, including the two attraction tickets, however, they convinced our hotel concierge to have us buy the attraction tickets and only a 24 hours pass (22 Euros) and we were told to  upgrade to a 48 hour pass...
