My mother and I visited Rome for a week. We saw all the sights, took a cooking class, a wine & cheese class and took this private tour to a vineyard with Antiqua Tours. The tour was without question one of the more memorable experiences of the trip. Our guide, Ettore, was fantastic. Very friendly and chatty Italian with great... More

Ettore was a kick in the pants. Very humorous, very knowledgeable, and well worth the trip. My wife and I really enjoyed my birthday with Antiqua Tours and Ettore. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and caught a taxi(the wrong one at first which was funny) to his car on the edge of town. We drove out to... More

Sarah led us on the most charming and interesting walking tour of Rome in which I learned more than my all my previous trips combined!. She managed to intertwine her knowledge of Roman history with passions of food and wine in an effortless manner that was delightful. We discovered neighborhoods and tasted food and wine that I would have never... More

Sarah and Ettore exceeded our expectations with the several tours we booked with Antiqua. After years of comng to Rome, I now understand the difference of architecture between Bernini and Borromini. Sarah brought the ancient mosaics to life with her explainations of the figures and symbolism that is depicted. Our day in the country visiting the Medieval town of Sermonetta,... More

Ettore and Sarah are EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all things Italy- history, food, wine, culture, etc etc. Both past and present. We could listen to them talk for hours and hours and never get bored. They filled our minds and our hearts on a recent 12 day trip to Rome and the countryside and we haven't stopped talking about them since.... More

Incredible afternoon with Antiqua Tours in Frascati. This was my first experience travelling outside the walls of rome and I was absolutely amazed at first by the hilly picturesque landscape of Frascati. The history that is intertwined with this winery is interesting as well since it uses an old roman aqueduct as the location for the aging. Our tour guide... More

This group tour to Frascati was an overall wonderful experience. Our guide, Ettore, was extremely knowledgable and personable and covered the whole process of winemaking- we saw everything from the grapes on the vines out in the vineyard, to an ancient aqueduct, and even got to taste some of the products with the winemaker. This is something that I would... More

Wonderful group day trip to Frascati with Antiqua Tours. Ettore, our tour guide had so much knowledge and could answer any questions we had. We were able to see the vineyard (still learned a lot of interesting things even though there wasn't much action in February). We also went down into the ancient aqueduct where the wine is stored. We... More

The group tour in Frascati was so enjoyable. It was very personable and was a great experience. We were given a complete lesson on how the wine is made from beginning to end by our tour guide, Ettore. He was great. We tasted four different wines and they were all delicious! I would recommend this wine tour to anyone that... More

This trip to frascati was great! We got to take a look at the vines at the vineyard, where the wines are made and an ancient rome aqueduct! We then went to taste four wines (including a prosecco) with the wine maker himself! It was a great experience and I was very happy to see Frascati!
