Easitalytours was a life saver for us in Rome. My husband is disabled and has a problem walking a lot. Maxx picked us up at our hotel and took us around to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and all the wonderful sites in Rome at just the right time to minimize the crowds! He took us to a wonderful place for lunch and recommended a place at the end of our street for dinner that was amazing and very economical. Maxx is like having your own live history book and his passion for the city he loves is very apparent! We loved the tour and would recommend him to everyone and would definitely use them again!

We recently spent two days in Rome and can’t recommend EasItaly tours enough. What an easy company to work with. As with many, many of the reviews for this company our guide for the two days was Max. He was very kind and knowledgeable and we felt like old friends at the end of two days. We saw many sights and all of the main areas of Rome.

Don’t hesitate, nor wait, to book with EasItaly!

Tour - Rome Private Tour with driver (Max was our driver)
HIGHLY recommended! We did a 7 hour tour of Rome including, fountains, colosseum, Catacombs. Max was very knowledgeable about the area and history. He made reservations for us for lunch and recommended places for dinner that was absolutely delicious. Max made this trip our highlight. If you visit Italy I'd highly recommend EasyItaly Tours and request Max.

We used Easitaly for all our travels in Italy. They picked us up at the airport and we went to Bracciano castle on our way to the Civitavecchia cruise port. One of our stops on the cruise was in Naples and we were picked up and taken on a private tour of the Almalfi Coast and Pompeii. When we arrived pack at the cruise port we were picked up and talked to our hotel In Rome. We were given a private tour at the Vatican. The next day we were picked up at our hotel and taken on a private tour of Rome. It finished off with an airport pickup the next morning. It was seem less! I would recommend them to everyone! They are fabulous!

Honestly I’d give more stars if I could. Over the years I’ve booked several tours w Easitaly and each is better than the last. This last December we had the great pleasure of having 2 tours w Max. Rome tour and Pompeii/Amalfi tour. Both absolutely fantastic! Max is wonderful human being and so knowledgeable and generous. Silvia is very helpful and accommodating when booking. You will not have a better experience than this!

This was the best day ever, Max the wonderful tour guide showed us around and was so obviously passionate about Rome and this showed in the tour. The tour far exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I would highly recommend this fantastic experience to everyone and was worth every penny.

We booked a tour of the Vatican through Easitaly Tours. We were told by people who booked previously to request Massimo as our tour guide and that we would not be disappointed.

We were not disappointed at all! Massimo met us at our hotel and we headed to the Vatican. When we arrived, he handled everything for us. He weaved us in and around the crowds in order to get us where we needed to be quickly and to have the best vantage points on each part of the tour.

Not only did he know the Vatican like the back of his hand, he knew everyone who worked there and was able to get us into some of the parts of the museum that were restricted.

His knowledge of the Vatican, it's history and the art located within was unbelievable. We only wish we had several more hours with him there. The tour was not dry at all and his personality only made it more enjoyable!

So, if you're asking yourself, "why pay the extra dinero for a private tour"?, here's a short list:
1) Silvia (w/easitaly) is awesome! She's friendly, and personable.
2) You can put a bullet in my head before I take another one of those group tours with the headsets. If you find yourself standing in line without a "skip the line" tour, sure - go ahead and sign up with any of them. The price is worth skipping the line (often 3 hours). But once you get inside, ditch the group, hand back your headset, and open up the Rick Steve's app. It's pretty good on most tours. BUT DONT DO THAT HERE. Use Silvia.
Silvia talks to you one-on-one. You can hear her, and interact with her. You'll get much more info with her than with any other method.
3). If you have a question, you can ask. Can't do that on a group tour.
4). She moves at your pace. Not the group's. If you need to hit the restroom, no problem. Can't do that on a group tour.
5). This is a true wonder if the world. When will you be here again? You paid mucho dinero to be here - spend a little more to actually understand what you're seeing! I'm not saying you have to get private tours for everything. But this is not the place to skimp on the knowledge download. She's like a Vatican supercomputer. We peppered her with questions, and there wasn't a single "I don't know".
6). She explains not just the religious aspects of what you're seeing, but the historic, and political aspects too. You walk away with a really good history of Rome, as well as the Vatican, and why it's important to Catholics and non-Catholics alike. (As a non-Catholic, I've never understood the power of the Pope in history).
7). She comes with visual aids! She carries an iPad with drawings and diagrams to illustrate what she's talking about (like when she explains what things used to look like). It really helps to see a picture when someone talks. You can't get that on a large group tour.
8). We saw stuff no one else sees. In the Vatican Museum, we were often escorted beyond the ropes to see sections not on the other tours. We were able to see entire wings all by ourselves.
9) She picks you up at your hotel. Yeah, you can get a cab or bus over there, but why fight that? This gives her time to explain what you're gonna see, and prepare you a bit.
10). Did I mention Silvia is just plain awesome?

This tour was outstanding. This company is reliable and easy to work with over the computer. We were picked up from Rome's port promptly on our debarkation. We loaded our luggage into Easitalytours van and our driver watched over it the entire day. Our driver was personable and knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We saw all the sights we hoped to see and he even took us to an outstanding little Italian restaurant for lunch (not a tourist trap) At the end of the day he dropped us off at our hotel near the airport. This was worth every penny we spent.
