My friend and I were travelling together (2 young girls) through Italy and had a day tour booked with green line tours. This your was cancelled as the minimum number of people wasn't reached. This was fine and we booked to have a tour through the Vatican museums. On the day we were kept waiting an extra half an hour... More

Everything was rushed and the elderly guide clearly didn't want to climb any steps. There were far too many in our group so we often didn't hear what the guide was saying. For the price, our tour of ancient Rome was not nearly good enough

The tour to Naples and Pompeii in general was good. Our tour guide on the bus from Rome to Naples was Alina who was very informative and personable. The older gentleman who took over the tour duties in Pompeii was equally informative and charismatic, but the lunch we were scheduled to have w the tour of Naples & Pompeii was... More

We took the Colliseum tour and the Vatican morning tour. The tour guides were very knowledgeable but this was clearly a "recite what you know" tour and keep moving. Very much a cattle moving business. With regard to the Collisuem tour, our "English" tour was given by the same tour guide in English, French, and Spanish. This meant she spent... More

I'd give zero stars for this tour company if I could. I don't know how this place stays in business. We signed up for the daylong group tour from Rome to Naples and Pompeii. Arriving at the Green Line offices before departure, we encountered complete chaos and disorganization. The description specifically said the tour would be an English-speaking group tour... More

If you do this tour, be prepared for a very long day, most likely on a crowded bus with disappointing stops (other than Pompeii which is really the whole point of the tour for most). We knew it was a 13 hour trip so were somewhat ready for the tedium of a long drive. However we were unprepared for the... More

Just come back from doing the no-stop tour of Rome. Naturally I thought that, with thousands of years of history, the guides might the audio commentary might last the whole tour and the bus would slow down or stop at each of the major sites......eh not really. To say the commentary was perfunctory would be something of an understatement; very... More

We booked a Pompeii tour via Isango and didn't realise it was Green line tours till we were picked up at 7am from our hotel. It was a long day. The Naples tour is unnecessary. The lunch was good. The cameo factory was really only a toilet stop as the prices were over the top. Only spent two hours out... More

It was extremely hot, and the guide insisted on spending most of the time outside so he could explain what we were going to see in the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. 30-40 minute explanation of the images in the sun; then 15 minutes inside the Sistine Chapel. Real waste! We were exhausted from the heat when we walked into the... More
