During our visit in Rome we decided to take the night tour with Green Line. We were rather disappoint with the guide of the tour she gave only limited information on each of the places we stopped. I would say for 45 Euro we should get better service.

The tour to Assisi was wonderful, the guides too. I have one complaint though. The tour package included a €34 charge for lunch at a hotel in Assisi. We paid for drinks and the lunch we were served was a tourist menu that on the menu costs a mere €14! So my point is that the cost of the lunch... More

While in Rome, I took the day trip (tour) to Florence. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. We had a group of 15 people, and they did their best to accommodate everyone's needs. Pros - Green Line Tours picked me up from my hotel, and at the time they said they would. How... More

We were recommended this tour by our hotel, so we assumed (incorrectly) this tour group would be ok. (We have had recommendations from other hotels throughout europe which have been great!). We were picked up at 1:40pm and did not start the tour until 2:45. We were then transferred to a larger bus with the rest of the herd. We... More

The hotel receptionist recommended we take a tour of the Vatican. We were disappointed with our tour guide, Amelia, and the entire experience. Honestly, we spent more time in the gift shop than in the Sistine Chapel. We saw very little in the Vatican Museum and only 15 minutes at St. Peter's Basilica. The only advantage to the tour was... We had an extra day in Rome so we decided to go to florence on a day trip with green line tours, unfortunately it was quite a forgettable experience - the tour guide (I think it was Tina or nina?) was droning away in three languages- of which she was the weakest in the one we understood- English! The only... More

I was booked to them through VIATOR!! 1st day they picked me up from my hotel and then we went to Florence. The bus was fine. But they ask you not to eat or drink anything in the bus, which is inconvenient as we started early morning and their breakfast stop is about 2 hours later. In Florence. The guides... More

Don't even consider their 'hop on hop off' tour. Take the red, blue, ciao Roma, or any other colour hop on hop off, but NOT green (GLT) While waiting over 1 hour for the 15 minute scheduled interval, walking became the preferred option

The tour company is terrible and the day-trip is misrepresented. The guides are awful, they really are not guides. We had very little time in Orvieto or Assissi. The tour seemed to be centered around lunch which was advertised as on a lake! I have yet to see the lake. Total rip-off! Take a fast train from Rome and spend... More
