I'd give zero stars for this tour company if I could. I don't know how this place stays in business. We signed up for the daylong group tour from Rome to Naples and Pompeii. Arriving at the Green Line offices before departure, we encountered complete chaos and disorganization. The description specifically said the tour would be an English-speaking group tour... More

If you do this tour, be prepared for a very long day, most likely on a crowded bus with disappointing stops (other than Pompeii which is really the whole point of the tour for most). We knew it was a 13 hour trip so were somewhat ready for the tedium of a long drive. However we were unprepared for the... More

Just come back from doing the no-stop tour of Rome. Naturally I thought that, with thousands of years of history, the guides might the audio commentary might last the whole tour and the bus would slow down or stop at each of the major sites......eh not really. To say the commentary was perfunctory would be something of an understatement; very... More

We booked a Pompeii tour via Isango and didn't realise it was Green line tours till we were picked up at 7am from our hotel. It was a long day. The Naples tour is unnecessary. The lunch was good. The cameo factory was really only a toilet stop as the prices were over the top. Only spent two hours out... More

It was extremely hot, and the guide insisted on spending most of the time outside so he could explain what we were going to see in the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. 30-40 minute explanation of the images in the sun; then 15 minutes inside the Sistine Chapel. Real waste! We were exhausted from the heat when we walked into the... More

We were very disappointed inthe Greeb Line Tours Rome at Night. We wre made to wait in a hot bus for over 15 minutes and others waited longer. The tour guide and bus driver were friendly and helpful but we went by things to fast. We stopped at the Trevi Fountain for half an hour which was fine but we... More

The hop on hop of bus was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We bought the 18 EU tickets from an agent across from the Termini who was very helpful to us. We went around the circuit twice. The bus was just a great way to firstly get the lay of the land before jumping off where we wanted... More

My son and I only had one day to devote to Florence. We took a Green Line tour bus from Rome to Florence. We wanted to see as much as possible, but while we were in Florence the time was poorly used. We spend about 30 minutes in a jewelry/leather store that turned into an infomercial about their products. Then... More

We just returned from Rome including having done a day trip to Naples, Pompeii with GLT. Having booked it through our hotel, I read some of the comments here and admittedly got rather concerned as overall they are very poor.......I guess we got lucky then..........as we had a very good day. I agree, one could skip the Naples driving around... More
