Really? Let's spend 1hour of my time walking around because your company can't find the tour guide. 50 euro. 20 to chad who was alright at best. 30 to this company who has no organization. 3:00 we are suppose to be in museum, however it's 4:00. Just terrible. English speaker was terrible. I mean the list goes on. There was... More

We toured the Vatican 8 years ago on our own with the Vatican audio guides. It was a pleasant experience for us but we wanted our family to learn more. Today we used these guys for the Vatican tour....large(>40 people), unorganized, tour guide with little knowledge and poorly presented!!! The Vatican audio guides were very well done, so much better... More

Absolutely enjoyed the Vatican tour with Fabiola. She was very informative and patient. I was a bit sceptical about being approached in the street but this was the best tour I did in Rome. Over three hours of history, art and religion. Beautiful. Thank you.

I would echo the other reviewer comments about the quality of the tour with Stefan at the Coliseum and with Chad at the Palatine hill and the forum. They were both excellent. Based on their tours we also chose to use this company for the Vatican tour. Big mistake!! We were told that the tour would be small (ended up... More

Started our Vatican Museum at 0930. The first exhibit we saw was after 1215! These guys almost ruined our Vatican visit, almost. The first 2 hours were spent hovering around St Peters Square where this bunch of time wasters tried to pick up more customers. The guide on this English speaking tour spoke English badly. At 12.30 after 30 minutes... More

This was an extremely poorly organised tour and expensive. We were told originally to meet at the office at 2.45 but when we collected the tickets this was changed to 3.15. We didn't leave on time and having walked to St Peters Square with a large group we stood for nearly an hour listening to information from the guide. The... More

Our first tour was with stefan around the colosseum whospoke wonderful english and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly , he brought the colosseum to life for us.He then passed us to Chad, an american with a clear passion for his subject at the roman forums. He too was very informative with a very dry sense of humour. We enjoyed these tours so... Avoid this tour company at all costs!! We arrived at the time we were told (11.00am) and waited & waited - really poor organisation and at 11.40 my husband spoke to the group of guides who eventually pulled their finger out and we got going around 11.45. We trekked to the Vatican museum - and our 'guide' paid little attention... More

Took their Vatican tour on May 2nd. 2015 at 1130. Guide was Roberto. I have not been with a guide with a worse attitude. He was insulting anyone who would ask a question. He would not give straight answers. My wife asked him 2-3 simple yes no type questions and each time he tried to make fun of her. At... More

We ran into a salesperson who sold us a Coliseum and Forum tour with the premise of being shown through these areas by a archeologist in a small group of 8 people. Needless to say the group turned into 30 plus and the guide was brutal. He was all about jokes and we felt he hardly knew what he was... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
