A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

My wife and I, plus our brother and sister-in-law, wanted to learn a bit more about Italian wines. We were joined by one other couple, and we felt fortunate to have Maurizio as our sommelier. He was relaxed, knowledgeable, a delightful host for our small group. We appreciated his wine choices, and felt after the tasting that we had a... More

I've done the "Wine & Cheese Dinner" and a private version of the "My Rome Food Tour" on my four day trip in Rome. My Rome Food Tour, to start with: I always make intense researches before my travels. I normally start a month in advance, read blogs, reviews and articles about the most authentic local places (from street food... More

We absolutely loved this wine tasting experience. The lesson was quite interesting, the wine was exquisite, and the food was delicious! The intimate setting of 10-15 people also made it fun to chat about what we were learning. Fantastic job!

I surprised my husband and two adult kids and booked this wine tasting for our first night in Rome. Hande was a gracious, knowledgable hostess who made the evening fun for all of us. You will get a lot out of this whether your a wine pro or just a novice starting out. The point is simply to enjoy yourself... More

I attended this kind of wine tasting with two friends while in Rome last week. We loved learning about Italian wine and tasting so many. Our instructor was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. There were a lot of friendly people in the class. It was great to hear the questions and views from around the world. I would love... More

Enjoyed the experience very much. Learned tips on Wines, pairing of different cheese and foods that change some wines tastes. Had all local cheese's from farms. Iam not a wine drinker but enjoyed the experience.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon for our party of 9. Hande's is a wonderful teacher and we learned a lot about Italy it's wines and foods (& awesome farm cheeses too) Take a couple hours to relax and sample good wines & foods, you'll remember this more than the old buildings.

This was an amazing two hours of wine knowledge, tasting and getting to understand our own preferences. You get a map and tasting sheet. Maurizio was patient, motivating and engaging. The wines were a great selection. Thank you again from your new Scottish friends!

We enjoy wine but would not consider ourselves as people who know much about it. Maurizio was a wonderful host and put us at ease straight away and made the two hours really fun as well as informative. He handled questions knowledgable and with confidence and the questions were varied. The relaxed feel meant that people with no knowledge could... More

ciao Linzb81, thank you for your nice words. It is excellent feedback to see how our tasting helped you. Just to clarify for future guests - we do not sell wines at all. We believe educated wine drinkers have more fun and get more for the money they spend on wine, so we are dedicated to that side of drinking... More

Booked this as a surprise for my wife and it was well worth the cost. We were served tastings of 5 very different wines and the owner was able to break down the different taste profiles in a way that our group of very inexperienced tasters could appreciate. Do the wine and cheese tasting though- the cheeses were almost better... More
