This was a great activity. My husband and I love Italian Red wine. We LOVED this! We are novices, and this gave us a good foundation of knowledge of the different regions, and the typical differences. It was just us two for the evening and we loved having all the attention. The sample size of the wine was plenty, with... More

This is such a great activity! I've been to three different Vino Roma tastings: Sparkling Saturday, My Italians, and Wine and Cheese Lunch. All three were so fun. The teachers were incredibly knowledgable without being intimidating. They did an excellent job at gauging how much the group already knew and what to teach. I have a background in wine and... More

Me and my wife used to go to a lot of wine tastings when traveling. With more experience we found many tastings to be mediocre and not really offering anything new. But my wife insisted to attend a tasting at Vinoroma, because she had read a good review in the New York Times and I am glad she convinced me.... More

I have now, over the span of a few years, gone to wine tasting sessions at vino roma three times. I enthusiastically recommend it to you without hesitation -- it is one of the most fun, relaxing, and informative ways to spend a couple of hours in Rome. This is true regardless of your level of expertise in wine generally,... More

A perfect place to learn about Italian wine! I'm from Istanbul and been in Rome only for 3 days and visiting Vino Roma was one of the best things I did! On my second trip to Rome, I'll definitely visit again. Can’t wait to learn more! If you are interested about Italian wine, if you want to learn how to... More

This was a really educational experience. I am from Italy (the south) but I was never a big wine drinker. Our sommelier Maurizio helped me to understand what kinds of wine I like and other kinds of wine that… I don't like as much! Of course in Italy wine is such a part of the culture but I think a... Now I'm no wine novice. I've studied wines in the US and have worked in the restaurant industry for many years. And as someone with Italian parents, I was raised around Italian wine. But it wasn't until my tasting at Vino Roma that I really understood them! Our sommelier, Maurizio (Italian American like me! :) was amazing at being able... More

We went to Vino Roma on April 5th with 2 of my friends for a wine degustation. Hande was really kind and she was harmful. She explained us everything we wanted to know. She made each of us realize what kind of wine we prefer and explained us the specificities of the wines we tasted. I enjoyed each moment with... More

Hard to find, but very cosy place. We had a couple of hours in "the kitchen" with some small sips of wine, both red, white, sparkling and som dessert wine. Together with some small Italian food specialities this was really "Quality Time"
