A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

If you love wine, you'll love this, and if you like wine you'll love this, and if you hate wine you'll still love Vino Roma. It was fantastic, I learned a great deal about Italian Wines in the MyItalians tasting session. I thought the price was reasonable too. There was just three people there for the tasting, my girlfriend and... More

A friend and I took a half-day, customized foodie tour with Hande. We visited bakeries, salumerias and cheese shops in the historical old town. Hande provided us with an unparalleled insider's view of the food scene by focusing on delicacies from the region and by weaving in historical facts and personal anecdotes about the food and the people who make... Very nice experience with Maurizio. We had a great time with him explaining about wine appreciation techniques and wine habits. The ambience is cool, old wine cellar, minimal decoration for you to concentrate on wines exclusively. Good job!!

I am a solo traveler and was interested in the Italian Wines wine tasting since I love Italian wines. Hande was great and although they wouldn't hold a wine tasting for one person, they did let me know when others had signed up for the tasting so that I could join them. It was fabulous. Unfortunately, the name of the... More

Thank you for your nice words, Maurizio will be very happy. And thank you also for your appreciation of our wine selection, we do feel it is our duty as wine educators to expose wine drinkers to more interesting wines than the already well known ones. Hope you can find at least some of these in your hometown. More

This course is worth the €50. The facilitator was friendly and knowledgeable and I left with some enhanced vocabulary and new knowledge about Italian wines. Testing your new skills is soon to follow. Just to note the wines offered (Italian classics) were very good quality so the 50 is a good price. And last the street itself is very pleasant... More

We are glad you enjoyed the tasting. It is nice to hear you appreciated the very good quality wines we use at our tastings, and think they are worth the price. But we would like to stress that the price our guests are paying is mostly for the vocabulary, knowledge and skills gained. Keep on practicing! More

My wife and I went to the My Italians food tasting hosted by Maurizio. This is a serious wine tasting which takes place in a quiet basement room a bit off the beaten track. If you're looking for nightlife and wine bar atmosphere then this won't be for you. We had the chance to taste a diverse range of Italian... More

Thank you for your on-point assesment that our wine tasting has nothing to do with nightlife nor winebar atmosphere. Would just like to correct the information about the tasting room - the tastings are held in the wine studio at street level, only our wine cellar is, well, in the cellar/basement :) More

We were in Rome over the holidays and this was certainly a highlight of our trip. Not only did we meet Hande and learn so much about the Italian wine regions but we got to enjoy local cheeses unavailable in the US! We got to share this experience with a local couple which made it even more enjoyable. What a... More

My husband and I spent 8 days in Rome during the Christmas holidays. The wine and cheese tasting at Vino Roma was one of the highlights of our trip. Hande was very knowledgable and a terrific host, she guided us through five different wines which was a really good showcase of Italian varieties. The sparkling and the red we had... More

After a glowing recommendation from my financial advisor, I made reservations for the Monday night Wine and Cheese dinner on December 16th. My boyfriend and I took my dad on his first European vacation with stops in London, Paris, and finally Rome. I booked this experience as a surprise for my dad, and didn't tell him what we were doing... More

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets.
