A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

On visiting Rome for the weekend I decided to book onto the wine tasting session for a birthday treat for my boyfriend. We like a drink of wine but have never done anything like this..... We weren't disappointed! Everything was explained in a good amount of depth and to the right level of the group! The wines tasted were all... More

We booked due to a recommendation, weren't too sure if it would bring us any advantage but we thought it will at least be fun. oh boy. Not only was it fun (in an adult way)(that sounds wrong but what i mean is, not a "let's get drunk" type of fun), it was also very educational and opened our eyes... More

I have recently taken two of Hande's small group classes, one an overall introduction and another on Natural Wines. What I loved especially was how Hande with warmth and professionalism and enthusiasm managed to align gracefully tasters with all sorts of experiences -- from lots to very little -- such that everyone loved the tasting ! On both opportunities, those... More

Book an event with Hande of VinoRoma. This past October was the 2nd time I signed-up for a Vino Roma event. Hande recommended her food tour in the Testaccio rione of Rome and off we went. The paradox of trying to write this review, which should've been done a month ago, is that words mostly fail to describe the experience... More

I went for the "Wine and cheese dinner" and really enjoyed the tasting! I am a casual wine drinker, and even though I am more advanced than "I like this wine" and "I don't like this wine", I am not very advanced. My hopes for the session was both to develop a bit as a wine drinker (or taster), and... More

As a present for my husbonds birthday, we went to a winetasting at Vino Roma. It was a very interesting evening. The Street was exciting, it did not look like a place for Vino Roma at first- this is good. I love to learn. The host did very well and was well educated- i would love to learn more. What... More

I highly recommend this activity as you will learn a lot about the different regions of Italy and the wines each one produces. I have learned so much in so little time thanks to our valued host.

I am an avid wine drinker but my other half is not. Despite the significant gap in our wine knowledge Mauricio was able to provide education and commentary for both of us during our wine tasting last night. There were 4 additional couples joining us last night - 2 more from the States, one from Germany, and one from the... More

thank you for the detailed review and nice words about our sommelier Maurizio, we agree he is great :) We are sorry you saw the fact that we do not sell wines as a drawback - this is actually one of our founding principles. Our tastings are all about the education, we are independent, we are not commercially tied to... More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
