Visted the Sadio Olimpico while on a break with my girlfriend. The atmosphere during the AS Roma game I attended was amazing. Traveling to the stadium is quite easy. I took the metro to Flaminio. Then took the number 2 tram. Follow the crowd over the bus stop area and then cross the river on the Ponte Duca D' Aosta.... More

Visted the Olimpico several times and always a great pleasure. The atmosphere during the AS Roma games is electric with organised choreography which include flags, scarfs, singing and also fireworks (flares, flash bangs and coloured smoke). Traveling to the stadium is easy just take the bus 910 from Termini Station and it takes you right in front of it. There... More

I'm NOT a football fan particularly...I enjoy watching the Wolves at home but that's about it but this stadium excites me! Its amazing! I'd love to watch a Lazio game here. Must see if you visit Rome! Statues on the outside of the stadium.

Watched Lazio v Torino last week. Don't wait until the last minute to buy your tickets, there's a scrum round the shop and you won't get in for the start of the match. Must have your passport to buy a ticket and to get into the ground. With around a hundred Torino supporters half the ground was just about empty... More

I recently went to the Rome v Cesena match played at 8.45pm on a Wednesday night, getting the tickets are a diddle, just ring one of the many Roma stores a couple of weeks before the game and speak with the multilingual staff - I got tickets for Distinti Sud, which is in a corner next to the 'Kop end'... Spectacular view of all the city from the top of Olympic Tower. Also there is Olympic basin, which you can visit with all your family (at least in summer - cannot say about cold times). And there is lovely green park around stadium with tracks goog for walking or running.

Watching AS Roma play their home games at the Stadio Olimpico is a great feeling. The" tifosi giallorossi" support is a spectacle in itself. Any Romanista should visit the Olimpico the feel to great atmosphere.

It is an old classic Olympic Stadium for all kind of field & track sports, football etc. The atmosphere in a football game although hot (especially if you are lucky enough to watch a Roma vs Lazio derby) it will always missing something because it is not a classic football stadium (the distance from the field is quite big). I... More
