Unlike most football stadia who have organised tours of the ground, club shops, trophy rooms etc. there is absolutely nothing at the Stadio Olimpico. I had hoped to see a selection of Roma, Lazio & Italian national team shirts on sale, a trophy room housing 4 World Cups etc. etc. But nothing !! Even worse was the fact that I... More

The stadium is located close to Flaminio in the Italian Forum. Getting there its very easy taking the Metro line to "Flaminio" station and then taking the tram. In a football match its easier, you just need to follow the fans. One thing is the Stadium as an attraction and another thing is the Stadium as part of a football... More

Although I went when the stadium was closed, the local university stadium next to it was a sight to behold with all the Roman gods stood in stone all around it. Olympic swimming pools and beautiful gardens are also of interest. As well as the strangely well kept Mussolini obelisk...

The overall organization of the events at the Stadio Olimpico is perfect. So don't hesitate to attend any events there - you'll safely enjoy.

Went here for a soccer game (AS Roma) and was disgusted at how run down and dirty this place was. People throw their discarded trash on the ground, they have no pride in their city much less this stadium. Weird too that they allow cigarrete smoking in the stadium, thus any foreigners whom are used to Non Smoking in public... More

even when quiet. Having attended a poorly attended Lazio match against Torino I have to say it was well worth the visit. The steward I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The view was good, even from behind the goal and the atmosphere was very good. Surprisingly loud. The only problem was transport. I intended to get a taxi... More

Our entire holiday was inspired by our 14 year old sons wish to go to see Lazio or Roma play! We thought getting tickets would be the most tricky part but it was very easy as it turned out. We were tempted to buy tickets online before going to Italy but read other reviews on here which made it sound... More

This is the 2nd time I have seen the rugby here with previous matches having been played at the Flaminio stadium. It was a beautiful warm and sunny day unlike the previous 2 years when it was snowing and freezing cold. The partisan crowd sung their hearts out to their wonderful national anthem and it was one of the loudest... More

I've never been to a large ground before to see a game so it was a definite wow for me My only criticism is the size of the toilets and how long it took to get to our seats, it's certainly not been planned out very well But, it was a great day with great rugby being played

This is probably one of the safest football stadiums with no steep climbs and good segregation between sections of the ground. The biggest downside of watching a football match here (Roma v Udinese) was the total absence of Police and Stewards in the Curva Nord, the place appeared to be run by the fans many of whom were hostile. Alcohol... More
