Fascinating to learn about the conversion and charitable work of Blessed Bartolo Longo who is responsible for this large, lovely Basilica and the painting of Our Lady of the Rosary and the miracles attributed to God through it. The marble and... More

We just happened to catch a children's chorus singing in the sanctuary, so our experiences was not the normal one, but very enjoyable. The grounds were beautiful as was the neighboring plaza.

This church can be seen as you exit the train station in the distance. Once inside you are immediately struck by the beautiful sculptures and murals above you. The art work is awe inspiring as your gaze is directed upward just as it is in the Vatican and St Peter's. For a little church in a little town, this one... More

Lovely church and nice little museum. Take the elevator to the top of the bell tower. Nice views. Minimal cost for a nice quiet experience

We went up the bell tower for a small donation .. what fantastic views over new and ancient Pompeii. Don't forget to take your camera with you.

Had read that it was very nice, so stopped by in the early evening just as the bells were ringing. Happened on a rosary service that was well-attended by locals of all ages. The paintings and murals throughout the church are lovely, and I spent a cool and memorable 45 minutes or so there.

I was wrong because this Sanctuary is an added attraction spiritually. My group had an appointment for a Holy Mass at noontime. When we arrived , there was a mixed-up of which Chapel to be used. Workers like... More
