Make sure you look up, the frescoes on the ceilings are breathtaking. If you're in Pompei, I highly recommend taking the time to visit this church.

Having read the reviews I had decided that I would really like to go up the bell tower. The views were stunning and better than I could have imagined. It was a great place to take photos from also. I had not planned to see inside the church but am very glad I did. It is very beautiful with fabulous... More

Although only 100 years or so old, the whole building is magnificent and seems to have a very special calm quality throughout. It is well worth the 2 Euros each to ascend the adjacent Bell Tower from where there are superb views over the towns, both modern and ancient!

This Basilica is a do not miss! I have been to Pompeii before but went to the ruins day tripping and left. I am so happy we saw this gorgeous church. The nuns make it so special for me. They run the gift shops. Be sure to stop in. There a loads of masses too.

Very stunning church this! Lots of art to keep the mind entertained! Lots to see, even if the crowds are everywhere. Best to visit early in the morning, to really get the feel of the church. Very impressive church with lots of inspriational pieces.

Beautiful Church Lovely exterior & the interior is stunning. They are very strict re clothing, so you will have to cover up. Located in a nice Piazza in the centre of new Pompeii.

Pity it was just a short hop off visit. Our visit was even shorter since there was a mass celebration going on and didn't want disturb. Yet the architecture is astonishing and the basilica is so nicely decorated with marble. Really liked the Madonna of Rosary alter and picture area. Basilica is located very close to the ruins of pompei... More
