Key reason to visit this castle is its view over the harbour and the boulevard. Great place to bring some food and drinks and hang out for a bit. Entrance is free. Not that much to see at the castle itself.

This Castle is in the midst of a mad construction zone, and there isn't a lot to see inside, but the views are worth. That and the fact that it is a castle in the midst of the city. Not sure how many castles you have seen in your day but I haven't seen many, so this was great to... More

Not much to see inside, but it is free and worth it for the views alone. To avoid the crowds visit during the week and you'll have a great perch to hang out for a while.

Nice- The view is incredible for the top of the castle. The castle of the egg more of fort that a castle. That would be in most peoples’ mind. The castle is plan, simple and highly utilitarian. The castle has quit a unique history. -- It is worth the trip to see the view from the top. Do not forget... More

Beautiful castle with great view of the gulf, where you can dream about the old Greek ages. Watching sunset while Trying to hear the singing of the siren Parthenope who washed there after failing to seduce Ulysses, and gave the name to the city. Listening to the legend of Virgilio burying the egg inside the foundations. Such a magical place!

Definitely worth a visit--and it's free. Beautiful view of the harbor, Vesuvius and islands. Interesting art and historical exhibits. Hordes of schoolchildren, but that added to the charm of the place. The kids were hilarious, fun to watch them.

This castle is a find, and one to do with or without kids. It is round the corner from Castle Nuovo and the marina, in the posher part of Naples on the coast. A large imposing building accessible across the small walkway and lined with pretty restaurants. The castle, like all in Naples, is built on a huge scale but... More

The castle of the eff is one of the three castles in Naples - we were told and we walked into this one since we were staying close by. It has a small walkway which links it from the mainroad since this castle is situated in the sea. There are few restaurants nearby. There is nothing much to see inside... More
