Great spot for a background shot of Naples. It's free, and a nice visit at the coast of Naples, a pleasant escape from the chaotic city.
The Castle of the Egg or Castel dell'Ovo is in itself not much as it is mainly used for exhibitions and congresses. It protects the really beautiful harbour of Santa Lucia. Great views from the top and one can find many charming places to eat out nearby. It is a pity that it does not make use of the space... More
I visited this castle because it is free and my hostel recommended it. The view from the top is amazing. This place is ok to pass the time. Do visit the village around it though.

It's a pretty pic of the outside, at least! ;) Also, the restaurants right near it, along the marina, have really great seafood. And of course, lovely... More
I've given it five dots because it is free and you get fantastic views. There isn't much to it other than a walk up to the top. However it is worth the visit for the beautiful scenary. There are lots of bars around and this area of Naples is cleaner, less chaotic and family friendly. On a Sunday its brilliant... More
