Myself and three of my friends were staying in Rome for a week and we wanted to take a day trip to Naples and Pompeii. We found a few day-long bus tours that would pick us up from Rome, do the whole tour and then bring us back but most of these were pricey ($120USD+) and they seemed very structured.... More

Fantastic views and scenery, lots of hair pin bends. Great place to visit. Go to the bus station earlier rather than later to get bus back if you want a seat.

We rented a Fiat Panda in Rome and headed South. Terracina was our first destination (another review onTerracina coming) and then we spent several days cruising the coast between Sorrento and Salerno. We travelled in Late September and early October which was just after the school holidays in Italy. Hotel rates are better then. A clean, private room with an... More

Not to be missed and equally enjoyable by either road or sea. Public buses get very crowded so a private tour easier but misses out on some of the fun. Positano, Amalfi and Rivello all must sees.

Suggestions- Plan your time in advance, our bus had to go to the garage so it got delayed. Don't spend too long in one place so that you see all places in daylight. Remember that it will get late (7-8 pm on an average) by the time you come back to Sorrento, so keep an entire day to do justice... More

Wow! There are many ways to explore the Amalfi coast tour bus, local bus, hire car (for the very brave) or hire a car with driver. We chose the car with driver option which was a truly amazing experience. From Sorrento to Positano (quaint village perched on side of mountain with small shops leading down to beach), Ravello (ceramic studios,... More

My family and I got off of our cruise ship with no plan, but a desire for a grand tour of the Amalfi Coast. That is exactly what we got. Biagio speaks beautiful English, he is charismatic, accommodating and a ton of fun to be with. At one point, the entire car, led by Biagio was singing at the top... More

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to say a few words about seeamalficoast. My husband and I spent a fantastic day with Carmine, driving from Naples, through the "milky mountains", to Ravello, Positano, and Amalfi. We chose this tour based on reviews on Trip Advisor - it was clear that this is an exceptional company that gives... More

We took the local bus from Sorrento to Amalfi on the famous Amalfi drive and boy did we enjoy it! You can get a 24hour return ticket with the bus company Sita Sud for €6.80 just outside the railway station in Sorrento and this gives you unlimited use of these buses for onward journeys to visit other places from Amalfi... We took a bus from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi. The road is beautiful and mad in equal measure, our driver was so unphased......whistling as he steered the bus with one hand on the steering wheel and the other leaning out the window!!!!
