We had been going to rent a car and drive this ourselves, am I glad we didn't. The roads are extremely narrow and it's a bit scary getting past other coaches with motor bikes zipping past on both sides! The coach trip was brilliant, not too big a bus due to roads being so narrow, incredible views, absolutely stunning scenery.... More

Just back from holiday in Sorrento and the highlight has to be the Amalfi coast drive. It has breathtaking views but some scary roads to manouver around. Beware of extra costs when booking these trips as you will find you also have to pay for local amenities which are not included in price of tours.

This Amalfi drive takes you to see the Italian villages of Sorento,Positano,Amalfi and other small villages in between.I did this drive twice in the last five years and I love it.One of the best scenery in the world.Very winding, narrow and scary drive. This is located in the south of Italy.

The cheapest and by no means lesser way to experience the breathtaking vistas of Amalfi Coast is by public transportation. Just make sure you know the timetables! We planned our coastal drive so that we could see the whole coast. We took the train from Naples to Salerno, then a bus to Amalfi. This part of the journey was beautiful... More

Good trip....you don't need to spend the 113 euros for the luxury one. This was 38 euros per head...if you get Giovanni as your tour guide even better!

We chose an escorted coach tour for our Amalfi Coast Drive, stopping in Amalfi and Ravello ( both excellent).........go in the villa in Ravello for fantastic views and for the classic Amalfi picture with the umbrella trees and white domed houses. I think this was the best way to see the Amalfi Coast.

We took the SITA bus to Amalfi from Sorrento station on our way to hike the Path of the Gods from Bomerano. The ticket cost only 6.80€ and was valid for 24 hours. What a bargain! We had no idea we would be getting such an incredible ride for our money...we just wanted to get to Amalfi. The route goes... More

It's so beautiful here! The drive on the coast is really worth the money to rent a mini bus. The town of Positano is lovely, with many shops to explore, gelato and lemon ice to eat. We also got to dip our feet in the water and some in our group got to swim! Beautiful!

This trip is really a must for any visitor to the Sorrento area. Views from the coach are breathtaking and the Amalfi coast road passes through some of the prettiest and most spectacular scenery in Europe. The driver has to be congratulated in manoeuvring a large coach up and down some of these gradients - sooner him than me. Highlights... More
