I've been to Parco Virgiliano many times, with different people, and I recommend it as a suitable place if you are looking for a quiet, natural area to walk, finding great views of the panorama, let your children play. It's worth it.

Enjoy the passegiata in the afternoons or evenings (preferable in the summer!) with all the other Neapoloitani! Truly an international experience if you can fit it in!!

This is not the park where you find Virgil's tomb, thought it has the poet's name. However, the park has a nice walking pathway with lots of trees and bushes all around. It's a nice place to wander, walking with no rush, and admire the view of the bay you can spot from some points. During the morning hours when... More

Great view, but really poor maintained park, we visited the park a weekday in it was almost empty of people. And beware of all trash outside the park.. If you like the views to Capri, ischia and such it can be worth I visit, but I think you can use your time better at other places...

I am from Napoli, that park is a rare example of green area in my city and therefore it is a unique spot where to relax and escape from the city chaos...from there you can enjoy an amazing view from posillipo hill of the gulf...have a beer with friends at one of the kiosks...kiss your girlfriend...or simply let the panorama... The terrace overlooking Nisida and the bay is definitely worth a visit, especially if the weather is ok. It's a perfect location to take awesome pictures. Young Neapolitans used to take their girlfriends here, this is why it used to be called "pregnancy park"....

It is by no means a famous place with flocks of tourist, rather frequented by locals and young couples hanging around. But you can have a nice afternoon stroll here. The view of Capri, Ischia, Sorento is breathtaking. Only issue is too much of mosquito :)

See naples from top and enjoy your spare time. You need to spend here at least one day... Rent a bike and enjoy your time.
