This must be one of the greatest works of art in the world. I’ve seen many stunning sculptures during many visits to the Louvre and other great museums, as well as Michelangelo’s David and his Pieta. My husband and I had a wonderful day and a half to see Naples. We had seen travel shows that encouraged a visit to this chapel, so we made the effort to go there. If you visit the Archaeological Museum, this is a short distance away. Get a good street map, or have someone point you in the right direction!... More

It is a unique chapel which deserves much more attention of visitors and publishers of guidebooks. Its collection of sculptures is fantastic, especially "Christo velato." More

If you don't know what Christ Velato is, the English translation is Veiled Christ. There is an old saying 'See Naples and Die'. Now I know what it means. You can't describe the Christ Velato and no photo does it justice. Just go and buy a ticket to Naples! More
