But less crowded! Set on a hill top with amazing views of Naples this palace is huge and has so much art it is easy to feel your senses overloaded by just one floor. For my own personal taste I would have preferred some 20th century pieces, but otherwise love this place. We went on a weekday and at times... More

It never ceases to amaze me how much art and architectural wealth exists in Napoli. The collection is extensive and well displayed. Although, like many venues in this city, there is sooo much to see I get "sensory overload". The building could use some TLC. The garden/grounds are beautiful, too. More

Despite going there in the heavy rain, the approach and view from the top are lovely. The palace itself and its gardens are also delightful, so you are in a good mood even before you enter. The collection is extremely good and well set out, much less crowded that the Ufficci. The lighting isn't too wonderful for the Titians, but... More

There is a LOT of stuff here ( complete collection of aristoicratic families over the ages) and much of it is second rate. Youhave to do a lot of walking and have a good eye or guide to pick uout the outstanding pieces. Not worth it if you have limited time in Naples and are not deeply interested in religious... More

An amazing palace and gallery, with expansive grounds. Not the easiest place to reach, but worth it when you get there. Lots of walking involved. More

the museum is really big, has 3 floors. but at the first floor the only thing that you can see is "madonna con bambino" (madonna with the child.) after a while it is being boring. and the documents at the floors are insufficient. More

Wow! We were enthralled with the art of Capodimonte but soon noticed the secret service and snipers in the windows of the museum. Prime Minister Monti was within feet of us! (Why did they allow us entry?) BUT...back to the museum! The contents of the museum is extensive and informative, with English interpretations. The grounds to the museum are beautiful.... More

We had to take a long trio to the museum in a very, very crowded bus. Then the museum is just average, with a few realçou good artpieces - mainly a Bruegel. Only for artlovers. Even for them, I recomend to focus in the masterpieces, and skip the remaining. More
