My wife and I purchased our tickets online prior to leaving Australia. I PDf'ed the documents from SNAV and carried them with us. No trouble getting onboard. Everything went smoothly. We arrived by train from Bologne and got off at the main station. We had never been here before and were at a loss as to what the next step... More

Just as you would expect from a ferry company. The buying process was fast and straight forward. The ticket prices were reasonable. The boat left on time and the journey was smooth.

I needed to get to Split when I was vacationing in Ravenna ,Italy. I found the SNAV ferry from Ancona to Split a great reasonable option. It was an over nite 11 hour trip getting me there at 7 am. I booked an inside cabin which had two bunk beds. I didn't share the cabin but I'm guessing that might... More

You are in Rome or Naples, and the mood is on you to see Sicily and the Greek theater in Taormina on the east coast of the island. What's the best way to get there? The dramatic hydrofoil sea craft---the aliscafi---from the ports of Rome and Naples go overnight to Palermo on the northwest coast of Sicily. You must not... More

This comment does not apply to ALL the Ferries. The regularly run ferries to all the islands are quite effective and work timely. However, if you're ever considering the overnight ferry BEWARE. We had to leave Panarea on Sept 8 and decided to take Siremar "Laurana" on their 7:30 pm overnight boat. We booked a sleeping cabin to sleep and... More

My party of five pre-booked our ferry tickets online before arraiving in Naples on the Norwegian Epic. We had booked return tickets to Sorrento. After standing for 3/4 hour in a disorganised queue at the booking offices we were told, gruffly, that they were to be collected at the next door office. We eventually got the tickets and proceeded to... More

We took the SNAV ferry from Sorrento to Capri and back again. The cost was €35 each. Not particularly cheap but we wanted to see Capri. Both 40 minute journeys were not bad with no notable negative issues to point out with the exception of departing the ferry, which was a bit dis-organised, but nothing major. The ferry was on... Decided to take the Snav over to Capri. The boat was stuffy, hot,and not an enjoyable experience. We were not allowed outside and therefore my whole family felt quite seasick on the 40 minute crossing. There seemed to be no aircon and the stuffy environment only made us feel more ill. We were very pleased to get off it!

I don't know if happens to someone else, but I booked roundtrip tickets Napoli-Procida. The ongoing was ok, but when returning I went to Procida's office to pick up my tickets and an unpleasant woman told me that my tickets were not in the system and she couldn't even looked for them by my name. I had no option to... More

We took an overnight ferry from Naples to palermo in the middle of june 2014. Ferry staff was welcoming and willing to help with any request. Our external cabin on the 7th floor was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fine (just don't expect a 5 stars hotel). We brought our own food and drinks, so we... More
