Get in line early for the ferry ride to Capri! We left from the port of Sorrento and the cheaper ferry sold out quickly. We took the hydrofoil which was 10 Euros more per person and gave us a designated time to return. We loved Capri immensely! Once we arrived we bought tickets to the funicular, which is a quick... If I have something to say that to some people would be disliking is the ferry crossing from Naples.- In spite that we went in a fast ferry (only 40 minutes) the movement is very violent for the the people that is not used with ships.- All is compensated by the wonderful island.-

Loads to see. Perfect for a long weekend. Great restaurants and excellent food. Good shopping as well. You don't need a car, use the buses or take a cabrio taxi.

My favourite place is the Capri side of the island. Anacapri reminds me of the typical tourist traps in f.ex. canary island. Still a lot to see in Anacapri as well. The bus will take you nicely to Anacapri from Capri town, 1,80€.

We were staying in Sorrento and decided to pop over to Capri for the day. We duly caught the (crowded) ferry and on arrival on Capri walked around the corner of the harbour, caught the little local orange bus (pay on the bus) and went all the way up to Anacapri. The views from the bus are fantastic and not... More

You don’t need a guide to catch the ferry to Capri, but it sure helps, especially on the return trip when there are multiple ferries in port and mobs are scrambling to get a seat and figure out which boat is theirs. The island is spectacular, but the crowds might make some people think twice about visiting (and we went... More

We visited Capri from Positano by public ferry (36€ return trip). Once off the ferry there were plenty of boaties selling private tours (80€ was probably the cheapest for 2 hrs). We chose a bigger tour boat (office located right after you disembark) as it provided shade & was similar size to a public ferry. It was 17€ for 1.30-1.45mins... More

Beautiful island well worth a visit , we did the blue grotto then walked up to the centre. There were other ways to get up there but we love a challange and yes it was one but once up there the views are lovely and so are the shops. Watch out for the service charge in some of the cafes.

I was part of a group which had the pleasure of spending a day on the lovely Isle of Capri and in Ana Capri escorted by tour guide Giuseppe D'Angelo. Despite what turned out to be a rainy day and even without being able to visit the famed Blue Grotto (rough water and wind denied access), the day was a... More

The Island is beautiful but the feeling of being on Island is the last feeing you get with all the aggressive taxi drivers and sales people trying to sell tours and lunches....
