I really wanted to do a boat tour on Capri, and this one was perfect. We got to take out our own little motor boat for about an hour and just explore around the perimeter of Capri. It was beautiful, and it was so great to have our own motor boat. It was fun to drive the boat and amazing... More

As we leave the US & Canada, we put our guard up and I was expecting something funny at the totally touristy areas. Not so with Banana Boat! We rented a boat for the standard two hour block with the intention of going over this and the reply was "no problem, you have the boat until 1:00 and after that... More

Before coming to Sorrento we knew we wanted to rent a boat on our own instead of going on a cruise tour, and this was definitely the right choice. Our hotel booked us a boat in advance based upon recommendations from their other guests. Upon arriving on Capri we had a little trouble finding the place and were eventually helped... More

A spur-of-the-moment decision, our Banana Sport rental turned out to be one of the best choices we happened upon during our stay in Capri. We strongly recommended as an alternative to organized trips for groups of 3/4 people—the cost is equivalent, but the fun of driving your own boat and doing things at your speed is great. A two-hour rental... More

A fellow traveler raved about renting your own boat to tour capri so we went out in search of a company that rented boats. Once we arrived to capri we wandered around until other tourist directed us toward banana boat. 80 Euros for 2 hours 5 people max no skipper. What an awesome deal! Luckily my husband and I found... We wanted to visit Capri on our Amalfi coast honeymoon but didn't quite know what kind of day to plan for ourselves there. At all costs we wanted to avoid getting stuck spending a sweaty day with tourist crowds sampling gelato and shopping (like in Sorrento...). We spoke for a bit with the owner of Banana Sport, who has an... More

Renting there boat was a great decision. No hassles and no nickel and dime games here. We even lost the anchor , it got in some serious rock formation underneath. They only charged 25 euro :) . We had the boat to ourselves and it's really easy to drive and comes with ice and ice chest. Also the map is... More

Four of us took the morning boat from Sorrento to Capri, got off the dock and turned left 50 ft to find the dock of Banana Sport. While waiting for the boat to come to the dock, the ladies went off to get towels and water. There is also a delicatessen a few hundred feet away with great bread and... More
