My wife said they know bad weathers coming we had better go now. Paid our money got on the boat. then set off arrived at blue grotto. Another 12.50 euros plus a tip.... More

I totally agree with all the others who say this is a massive rip off - €25 for two of us squeezed into the bottom of a little rowing boat with two other people, rowed round a dark cave and out again, and had to endure the man rowing trying to sing a few lines of O Sole Mio. An... More

You only get 3 minutes squashed sitting in the bottom of a wooden rowing boat for your 12 euros 50 cents but the blue water is spectacular

We recently visited on our own boat in May. Up until this time you can apparently get in on your own boat for free, but at some point they set up a barricade at the entrance requiring the 12.50 per person. It's definitely a highlight of Capri and if you've made the trip here you should go ahead and fork... More

Expensive, yet beautiful. 12,5€ per person. The men who take you to the cave with small boats are a bit on the tired side, and keep asking you for tips all the time. Everyone sings the same song and all in all, seems like a rip-off. The cave is nice once your eyes get used to the darkness,

By the time we took the ferry from Sorrento, and caught two buses to get to the Blue Grotto and out again, we were already EUR 125 deep. The grotto entry fee for 3 was EUR 37.50 plus tip (which I felt compelled to give even though I KNEW I didn't have to). So in the end, it cost almost... More

We were told by our local B&B host that the blue grotto was something to see but even he was skeptical that we would 'love' it. He was right. The color of the water inside the grotto is beautiful with the light from the outside turning the entire cave blue. The flashes of all the cameras in there do ruin... More

Traveled to the Island of Capri from Naples. The boat rde was beautiful and you have a lovely view of the Napolitan shore. Capri was gorgeous from the moment you step ashore. Many rstuarnts to pick from, but of course, tourist oriented. We headed up to the top of the island to a beautiful restuarnt. The grotto was amazing. It... More
